  • I die suddenly then grip onto shirts when I'm dead.

    True story.

    >>;;

    GOD BAD ACTING.

    I'm a jerk. D:

    BUT IT'S TRUE.

    The Seymour is good. :3

  • Best. Seymour. EVER! The emotion after Audrey's death was amazing!

  • THIS. was orgasmic :D LOLOLOLOLOL

  • When I die, which should be very shortly...(LOL)

  • DONT FEED THE PLANTS YEY ORINS BACK

  • U CAN SAY BAD WORDS AT HIGH SCHOOL U KNOW

  • heh my school performed this the night before, last night when i saw it and tonight. it is funny as shit! way better than this!

  • NO!! NOOOOOO!!! x'D

  • @MadFannyLaBouche For sure

  • @ginormousfunnybunny originally, the movie had the original ending like the musical, where everyone dies. but test audiences didnt like it, so they filmed the crappy ending where they live happily ever after.

  • awesome

  • Seymore sacrificing himself, just like in the Roger Corman version.

  • sad day but the guy who plays semore is cute lol the girl who plays audrey is a very lucky girl lol

  • Was this a high school performance?? Seems like it... Our version was way cooler, in the end we all dressed up as part of the plant and invaded the audience!!!

  • When we did this people laughed!!!

  • a tad too much smoke, but i loved the "vine" idea at the end.

  • @LexiTheShortOne i think the camera just makes it harder 2 see

  • Theres something very "a little fall of rain" about the ending of this scene

  • @muzikfreek86 omg i was always thinking that too.

  • yah she does look at

Little Shop of Horrors" original ending part 1

  • I have a question..... Were you guys given instructions to build Audrey 2? They come with the rights.....don't you have to build it a certain way?

  • Lol I thought he had a really big mole on his face, then i realised they both had microphones on...

  • Lmao omg so did i and i didn't realise it was a microphone until i read what you put, pmsl. Haha. Thanks!

    X's

  • I'm doning this play at school, so i'll show this to the directors....It'll help alot!!

  • Im ready to see odeus urungus from gwar come out and lop off somebodys head

  • smellow im doing this at school and im in the chorus i was hoping if you could give us a few tips ^^ awesome play the plant is very bigg heh

  • That's a creative way of doing the dead faces. :)

  • I dont get it..does she usually die in the musical or the film? Thats a wierd ending

  • Always in the play, never in the movie.

  • LUCY ITS AMI!! your other audrey! enjoying the clip we have to DIE! lol xxxxloveness

  • meh, puppeteering sucked--but it's understandable. The movie ending is altered from the original show version, for those who want to know...

  • awexome. The puppeteering sucked, but I understand that it was big, and probably heavy. meh, what are you gonna do?

  • so was this the real way the movie was sapost to end or is this just a differnt version that was added on?

  • Real way.

  • this audrey is terrible! shes on her deathbed and talking like its noon and shes alive talking about the weather! GAHHH

  • She didn't talk when she was in the plant.

  • damn this audrey did a better job at the death scene than my camp's audrey

  • i was in a production of this when i was 17 i was audrey 2 i altered my lines on the last show 2 make my character seem cooler

  • whoa I almost cried when she dies. Those two actors honestly had chemistry; the entire cast did a captivating job.

  • lol 2:33

  • What's your problem with alternate lifystyles? I think you should get over yourself if your pleasure comes from the word "fag" and abusing the English language.

  • Hurray for somebody who's not an idiot. ^_^

  • this makes me cry all the time!

    its so sad, and cute.

the ending kinda bugs me, but

    still a good reprise.

    thats the BEST part.

  • if you want there to be a happy ending watch the 1986 movie- they seymour electrocute Audrey 2 and marries Audrey

  • You know, not everyone her has watched the movie. I have, but thanks for spoiling it for everyone who hasn't.

  • You chose to watch it. Plust the movie ends differently.

  • No dip Sherlock. this has been my favorite movie for a long time.

  • the film hasnt been spoild from watching this its been spoiled by the comment made telling the ending.

  • I can't wait until you get eaten by a sunflower with a large row of spiked teeth.

  • I did this play at my high school about five years ago and i was ron and the ronnetts lol yeah but i loved the last song thats not in the movie

  • same here

  • in the play when they get eaten where do they go to do the finale?

  • the come back and sing the final song, walking like zombies.

  • in my skools version they went down a chute into below the stage and crawled to backstage and jus run on and sing the finale

  • this was a cool ending! love it love the people in this<3

  • Bad acting all around

Especially at the end when Seymour gets angry.

  • I like how the lead chorus girl isn't trying to "sing pretty" here. She's giving a serious warning and should have a more serious tone. It's really good.

  • me too, the videos on youtube of DFTP are all happy and peppy

  • I love this musical and I was very taken with Seymour. The dramatic no was a nice touch. I always cry at this scene. That added some actual drama to it.

  • Unparalled. I could cry for days watching this scene.

  • The Seymour in this is awesome.

  • I love the chorus. Gives me chills.

  • The end was really flat. What was with the scary zombie walk the ensemble did. The fog made no sense.

  • It is theater! It adds theatrics!

  • Fire the hell out of whoever does the voice of the plant. Find someone that sounds like Levi Stubbs.

  • No offense. But every version of this show since the movie should at least include 'Mean Green Mother From Outta Space' in place of this shit as ending. It's supposed to lead into 'Don't Feed The Plants'.

  • y are there 3 girls there?

  • they are like a greek chours.

  • Watch the movie and you'll understand.

  • I liked your Audrey. Is she single? xD

  • I don't get how Audrey got killed besides getting eaten

  • She's not killed. She took a sominex and fell asleep, she was just loopy. She shoulda lived.

  • @Buzz431 Huh what? you mean, the damages she suffered of Audrey II weren't severe, and she just fell asleep? WOW, talk about not really being bright and end up getting eating up in the process

  • @Buzz431 That is so sad! It makes the ending so much sadder knowing that Audrey shouldv'e lived.

  • Fatally wounded by the plant's teeth (The impression I was given by the deleted movie version)

  • in the movie, yes. In this, she doesnt die. She took a sominex, she is loopy, and she just falls asleep. Seymour thinks she's dead, so he feeds her to the plant

  • @Renthead97 The plant bites her which punctures through her body, and she has her lung collaped or she bleeds to death

  • I think the movie was better.

  • this must be the best version of little shop of horrors here on youtube. i seen a lot. and they all sucks. but not this one.

  • I saw the original production in the mid 80's in a tiny and kind of seedy theater in the East Village of NYC. After the plant had eaten the whole cast, roots and tendrils dropped from the ceiling into our laps like the plant was going to eat the audience.

  • oooo I got chills when I watched this... and cried a little.. shhh!! I loved it =)

  • wow! this seymour made me cry, and i haven't cried since i saw the alternate ending for the film. The audrey was great too, i've played audrey and it was so much fun

  • My highschool did this but we had a full standing Two-ey instead of just a head popped out so when our Audrey was getting eaten it was much less convincing that she would die than this was.

However it is one of the better endings I've seen <3

  • they did an awesome job, great chorus

  • I'm surprised he was able to lift her up and carry her.

  • wow! That was very interesting! They did a good job. Seriously they did. The smoke surrounding them was a good touch.

  • "Yes - No!" hahah. I love this. You did a great job.

  • very nice

  • This was pretty good, but I get the feeling that my high school's production will be better, if only because our ending has better choreography. These guy's sets and costumes are way better than ours will be, though.

  • Huh. I can't say I've seen as good the renditions from this particular play from any other school ones. As good as the 1989 film too! Both Audreys could stand having a little more inflection in their voices but it certainly didn't detract from the play- and Seymour did a fantastic job! :)

  • not overly fond of audrey, but she did an alright job. seymour is fantastic. he nailed the character. my favorite part is the "NOOO!" when audrey dies. heart-wrenching! ALL of the videos from this production are great. good job, guys.

  • the plant looks like a cake but i dont sugest eating it could eat you instead

  • this is VERY VERY good. great job. obviously mr. seymour krelbourn in this version should marry me.

  • lod506 is right Audrey 2 sounds really wierd

  • Audrey II doesn't sound right

  • That was really good!

  • I bet it was midi

  • The musical on stage was written and performed before the film was created. This is the origional ending of the story and the musical. The movie ending was chosen because movies with happy endings are proved to sell better to an american audience. This version however is the origional ending to Little shop of Horrors.

  • yeah, based on the the other DVD cut

  • It's based on the original ending, not "the DVD cut." The movie originally was supposed to end like this, like the play did, but audiences didn't like it that way so they shot a happier ending.

  • i had a friend who worked on the movie, and the reason the ending was different was that they thought it was going to be a huge hit so they left it open for a sequel, thats whay in the film you saw the baby plant in the garden at the end, and this isnt even the original ending of the stage play, in that it eats audrey and then then all the people who have been eaten appear as flowers on the plants tenticles at the end

  • You're very wrong. In this version it ends just like that. They just staged it differently. In the movie it was changed not because of a sequel (God Forbid) but because test audiences wanted them to live. Frank Oz the director said in the commentary that he only had the baby plant to give a hint of the unhappy ending.

  • thats what they call damage limitation, he would hardly admit that the movie was a commercial flop, thats why the sequel never happened, think about it there were lots of people who had seen the original 50s movie that has cult status and the stage show was also a huge success they didnt feel the need to end the stage show differently , god forbid they make the movie of your obvious favourite les mis, there would be a reunion between cossette and fantine lol

  • Trust me. Alan Menken and Howard Ashman would not write for a sequel. Little Shop did very well.

  • dude, do you even know what you're on about?

  • No, that's how the original 50's movie ends.

  • you know its opening in the west end at the duke of yorks theatre from the 6th of march, its transferring after a sell otu run at the mernier chocolate factory, sheridan smith from 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps is amazing as audrey

  • im going to see it at the duke of yorks theatre on sunday it looks good and i love 2 pints of lager and a packet of crisps i found out yesterday she was in it

  • she is amazing in the part

  • do u av any vid of it

  • never seen this ending, its pretty good, but i love a happy ending

  • This is very well done. The band sounded fine. I dont like backging singers. They annoy me. I LOVE SEYMOUR. You are pretty darn awsome.

  • the band is so awful it sounds like a midi...acting is very good very emotional

  • the smmoke went in all the unfortunate places tho. unlucky. but still fantastic

  • This ending is better then the movie ending.... like some little nerd could beat Audry 2 :-D

  • the audrey 2 is very horribly done.

  • I've never seen seymour's death done effectivly, even in professional productions.

  • Never saw that ending. Didnt make much sense to me. The rest of the show, I watched all the clips, was great.

  • Absolutely amazing!!

  • Exactly like the uncut ending on the rare dvd! I wonder if the planners of this play based it specifically on the way the movie executed it?

  • The cut end of the film was the same ending as the play, which cam before! The preview audiences reacted badly, so they had to shoot a happier ending which I think is the ultimatte hypocrisy. Just letting you know...

  • That Audreys kinda cute Good Work

  • You've got heart! I love it!! It is actually pretty good for high school too, I'm impressed. I agree that it's mostly hard to hear, but I love the aspect of it, it's killer!

  • not bad for a bunch of kids! lol

  • It's really hard to hear the actors esp Audrey...yeah, the audio is fuzzy :(...still good production though...
