  • I just finished watching this movie and fell in love with this song by Craig Douglas...Immediately came here to see if it was posted...

  • craig was my favourite singer in 1962 along with eden kane. you can hear them both regularly on bbcradio2sounds of the sixties.

  • Great song and video!! Too bad this wasn't played in the U.S. Craig Douglas was loaded with talent.

  • @errolflynn451 This was just before the Beatles and the other beat groups stormed the charts and ushered in a new era so that the careers of some really good acts like Craig Douglas ended overnight from 1963. Even top US artists like Bobby Vee struggled and by 1964 they had all but disappeared. Craig specialised in covers of US hits such as 'Only Sixteen', 'A Hundred Pounds of Clay', 'Pretty Blue Eyes', 'When My Little Girl Is Smiling' and Our Favourite Melodies. He was very popular here.

  • First saw Craig on Sounds of the Sixties series (1992), which shows him singing "Oh, Lonesome me". I've never heard this song till now, but it is pretty good, and sung very well. Very pleasing timbre to Craig's voice.

  • craigs voice was fab love his songs i seen him live in con was still as good as in the early days and he was 63

  • I love Craig's voice and this is my 2nd fave song from him. Our favourite melodies is my favourite melody. :-)

  • As a very young 4 year old this was my first favourite song, I would play it over and over on our radiogram. It was on the green Columbia Record Label. Thank you for putting it on youtube as it brings back happy memories before the worlds music went silly
