I've been sitting here for the past hour listen to different christian bands and songs, on almost every video I've watched, I saw comments from someone who says their not religious, they're not Christian or they just believe in a higher power. Yet they are listening to the songs, they like them and every song speaks to them. It amazes me how GOD gets through to everyone even the lost, especially the lost. Maybe they should rethink some things about what they believe

When they being honest about me and wrong sayings about me with out looking for real facts but when me being honest about them right there and then they didn't like me as friend and dislike me i call that unfare!.but with that happening made me think after all this time my true friends is jesus christ and his father our god all mightly!. So praying to her or anyone else - including saints (if that's what Catholics do - that's what I've heard) - puts them in Jesus' Holy place, and that's not what the Bible says is right. @ron43140 I have been struggling a little bit recently too, but you have to hang in there. I read a comment the other day that said the light becomes even greater after coming out of darkness. I wish we wouldn't assume, but rather like the song title "let it go". And let all labels go. Why assume atheists are lonely? I know some lonely christians, jews, mormons... Why assume wanderers are lonely...or sheep? The last sheep I saw appeared content:) Each will find peace within self. That's all. All is fine when you're fine. i went to church camp this week and they were the band at the university of nourthern texas....i left louisiana at 2am 2 get 2 camp for this week....i waz changed and so were many more....this band along with God did this 2 us....its wonderful how these thing happen. i waz saved b4 i went but just being there reawakened me....GO RED RUMBLE :)

If we are truly saved then the holy spirit lives in us and changes us, we will no longer want to partake of things of our past or of this world that compromises our walk with the Lord. But we will not be perfected until we are in heaven with our father.

yea, its really great to meet. I really wish we were more like the church of Acts, which wasn't a building, it was Eclesia "the called out ones" and they met on Solomon's porch, the streets, house to house. The point of a priest isn't so much to be a "middle man" as to bring Jesus to other people; he isn't meant to be an obstacle. For those Catholics that you met, pray for them to really encounter Jesus. It's hard living and following Jesus and easy to fall away. I don't understand how people can be Atheist (I'm not like talking bad about them, 'cause everyone believes what they believe) But everything that happens, theres like no other answer than God, Soo much of what we go through today is talked about in some way in the bible. the words "Do Not Be Afraid" is in the bible 365 times, Its a reminder for every day, I pray the Lord helps everyone see what he has done for us. Jesus died for us, he built a bridge with 2 boards and 3 nails, I ♥ God!

I wish we wouldn't assume, but rather like the song title "let it go". And let all labels go. Why assume atheists are lonely? I know some lonely christians, jews, mormons... Why assume wanderers are lonely...or sheep? The last sheep I saw appeared content:) Each will find peace within self. That's all. All is fine when you're fine. After all is said and done, the world is your very own projection. 'As within..so without.' Simple. May we let life express.

By the way, whilst reading my previous comment I noticed that I forgot to mention that I admire Believers ( of any religion ) for being able to believe in something that requires some sort of blind faith, the ability to trust yourself with something completely unknown. I respect such an ability, because it demands a lot of courage. A kind of courage I do not have =)

To be atheist takes as much blind faith as religion in my opinion, for when i look at the theories of how earth was formed and how everything got here and how it might all end...well that takes a lot of courage to chance that this may not be how it happened. i believe you have that courage :) may i pray for you?

i went to church camp this week and they were the band at the university of nourthern texas....i left louisiana at 2am 2 get 2 camp for this week....i waz changed and so were many more....this band along with God did this 2 us....its wonderful how these thing happen. i waz saved b4 i went but just being there reawakened me....GO RED RUMBLE :)

Thank you Jesus for your mercy and grace! We are all saved by grace not by works. We cannot lose our salvation if we actually have it in the first place. If we are truly saved then the holy spirit lives in us and changes us, we will no longer want to partake of things of our past or of this world that compromises our walk with the Lord. But we will not be perfected until we are in heaven with our father.

And you wouldn't laugh "at" them, for there will be no sin in heaven. And it is possible to lose your salvation, Once you have accepted christ as your savior thats awesome and a great step forward but that doesn't mean your free to do as u please. You have to walk in the word to keep your salvation and go to heaven :).

Even someone like the philosopher "Anthony Flew" (just recently past away) who ended up renouncing his atheism do to advances in Intelligent Design and such. God is awesome.

@missypunkrocker People like John Polkinghorne(His work is brilliant), Stephen C Meyer, William Dembski, Michael Behe, George Ellis and Frances Collins to name a few are doing great work. They may have competing theories on our origin, but never the less are all still Christian.

yea, its really great to meet. I really wish we were more like the church of Acts, which wasn't a building, it was Eclesia "the called out ones" and they met on Solomon's porch, the streets, house to house. No wonder they had more money to feed the poor they didn't have some huge building to pay for! lol It is important to build each other up! And they met every day almost, not just once a week. And they were out preaching & teaching and loving the lost all the time. That's what I want to be!

i just dont like the priest being the one to mediate between man and god... it says in the bible that jesus is the mediator and no one will come to God except through Him. Soooo idk.. i just know alot of catholics who have "given their life" and then a month later theyre back to what theyre doing. ezekiel 36:32 (i believe) says he will take our heart of stone and turn it into a heart of flesh.. well if your heart doesnt feel changed like that dont give up ! just try it with jesus

I understand where your coming from and I'm sorry that there aren't more Catholics really living it. The point of a priest isn't so much to be a "middle man" as to bring Jesus to other people; he isn't meant to be an obstacle. For those Catholics that you met, pray for them to really encounter Jesus. It's hard living and following Jesus and easy to fall away. If I can recommend checking something out search Catholic Answers and under Library some of the faith tracts. :) God bless!

I guaranty you that Tenth Avenue North (The band that wrote this) Is not telling you to just "let go" of your problems just any old way... Its saying to let them go, to give them to God. Selah.

I like an analogy of how when rescuing a drowining man it is very dangerous to approach him while he is still straggling, or he can pull both himself and a rescuer down in frenzy, but once the victim is relaxed or atterly exosted he can be helped and brought to safety.
So many times God has to wait on us to stop exosting ourselves in vain and let go in trust. So trust now, let go - He is more than capable!

Funny how christians hear songs like this which seek emotional movement and turn it towards religion. And I'm not just singling out christianity. Because it's also funny since I turned Away from religion my life actually got better, not worse. Yeah some friends religious zealots can be. As for the song, I'd just say let it go. Not "I'll save you" not "this" not "that" just bloody let it go man less you lose your fingers. You can never just have someone else deal with Your problems. Peace.
