  • Nice cigar lighter dude!!! A biquini!

  • amazing movie. rewatched it having totally forgotten just how incredibly nasty the atmosphere is. main character's likeable for a while - then he goes home with Nolte character's mistress and OMG such a vivid shock! Absolutely no room for likeability then!! aaaargh!

  • Was ShahRukh Khan, Sunny Deol & Juhi Chawla's movie DARR copied from this?

  • I love the Black Bolt reference hanged up on the wall of his cell. It vividly indicates to the viewer that Max Cady's most prominent offensive weapon is not only his physical attribute, but also his voice. Just like the Marvel hero himself.

  • At 0:54-1:07 the music sounds like real horror-music!

  • Why don't you all stop yelling at swearing at each other and shut the F*** up.

  • Thanks for uploading...but is a pitiful remake....was very disapointed in Di nero.... Mitchum character was much more scarier and made me dread him

  • I luv this movie. But I cant find Fatal Attraction full movie anywhere uploaded like this :(

  • I found the full length Fatal Attraction on Youtube and it is not broken up into 10 different parts. No problem:)

  • @dixiedoodleification Well tell me what to type in!! I wanna watch it for the 50th time! Is it still on here?

  • robbie de niro, he's a god damn hero!!!

  • already read em!!!!

    a fuckin king!!!

  • Thank you for posting this. Brings back alot of memories!

  • thanks for uploading this great movie,i grew up with this i really like

  • The doggie is adorable.

  • Boy, my family almost suffered some sh#t a couple of years back. My dad was chief deputy of the county we live in and warned the sheriff not to put a guy in there who failed to pay his tickets & refused to do community service. Well, they put him in the county jail w/ 3 or 4 inmates & they assaulted him w/a tooth brush and all & he sued the entire dept. My dad had left the department before they put him in there. Thought he'd come after our family, too. Yikes!

  • 6:53 ^^

  • scorsese and de niro are geniuses

  • That is a awesome movie.

  • Watched it before. Though thrilling, the older I get the less respect I have for Denero for playing his part. Perhaps such movies with its awful scenes should not be made. suppose it gives cons some ideas that at best.

  • Great qual. Thanks for posting

  • LOL tha'ts sideshow bob !!! hahahahaa omg

  • If kid prohibited, good.

  • How can Cady not see Danielle when she's outside in this scene, but in a later scene, when he confronts Lee, Jessica Lange, he is suppose to see Danielle for the first time and make a note of it. Technical error.

  • dont they say never light a cigar with a lighter, always light it wit a match? 6:25

  • Thank you for posting this sir, it is greatly appreciated.

  • OH God...theres that girl he likes....we all know what happens to HER...Cant eve look at her without cringing

  • @40390576 very good wording. couldn't have said better myself.

  • I always watch this movie when I'm in the mood for revenge

  • I love this movie and all but i never figured out why a prominent southern lawyer would take his family to see Problem Child...

  • haha 6:55 reminds me of the simpsons with sideshow bob laughing and smoking hahaha hahahah hahahah ;D...

  • @ninjaboy00000 This is where the Simpsons took it from

  • @ninjaboy00000 yeah simpons rip off

  • thanks for uploading it.

  • This is sad but I only recently saw this film. When I see the part at 3:13 I think of Jerry Seinfeld TV show b/c they did a joke where Jerry get's his uncle Leo arrested and Jerry has a dream about a super ripped Leo being in prison imagining revenge ("Jerry...HELLO...Jerry...HELLO"). The part that starts at 3:13 of him working out and the music are an exact match. Now this just seems like a rip off of Seinfeld. That's just messed up!!!

  • @davidlynn77 -Yes I remember when this film debuted,The headlines in the trade papers,." Scorsese 'rips off' Steinfeld."

  • @davidlynn77 seinfeld rip off this movie stupid son of a bitch

    ignorant piece of shit

  • @RichardElden A valid point, although not the only requirement for a movie to be enjoyable. At the time of the first version of this, many more films were shot using black & white film. However the story in this version is way over the top and far less believable because of it. Not a bad film, but Scorsese, a director of some great movies, spoils it, as he has done with some of his others

  • @RichardElden There's no such thing as 'better'. I felt the original was more realistic and more believable, but YOU like this one more then do you Richard ?

  • @TheKenfig There is no such thing as 'more realistic and more believable',spoils it to YOU.People see things differently.though they hear the same words.'Over the top' to YOU,'under the bottom,to another.

  • @billy1212ist Yes there is. Something one might accept as unrealistic but entertained because they can suspend their disbelief is science fiction, like War Of The Worlds, or Independence Day. THIS Cape Fear is unrealistic throughout. You KNOW that too, but dont want to admit it. Its FULL of over the top shit that is, frankly stupid. Its not rubbish, but it is pushing it

  • I love Robert De Niro's laugh XD

  • Ridiculously over the top movie in every way

  • awezome!!

  • great movie

  • Well no,no,no let's break that down! "MONEY"! I don't think you really fully understand?! 14 yrs

  • Love this movie. One of Scorsese's most underrated films. A true classic and De Niro plays the role of psychotic, yet intelligent and in control villain very well.

  • GFM. Great Fuckin' Movie.

  • ooooo yay I have never seen this before. Is it good??

  • awsome than dude

  • What I love about De Niro is how he commits to the role he's going to play. He went ripped and fat for Raging Bull. Here he got ripped again, so ripped in fact, that he only had 3% body fat if I recall correctly. Now that's badass.

  • BEST MOVIE EVER.THERE ISNT ONE FILM EVEN CLOSE.....DE NIRO (MAX CADY)IS COMING FROM YOUR NIGHTMARES.....!IF ANYBODY DOSENT SEE THIS FILM!!MUST immediately

  • THANK YOU!!

  • that girl playin in this movie ... well maybe sounds weird sinse she look little weird but i gotto say she rly is cute :)

  • Thank you so much for the upload. The quality is definitely kickass.

  • Thanks so much for putting this on. I rented this DvD and it had so many scratches and cracks I couldn't even watch it. Worst $3 I have spent, and this was practically free. I can finally watch "Cape Fear" in good quality:)

  • hello mr thompson

  • @trenq13 Response "0_0"

  • de niro's acting in this spectacular film, was a little similar to his acting in taxi driver and mean streets

  • Great fkn movie!

  • is it just me or does nick nolte look a hell of alot like roger moore here?

  • HEHE ,Robert De Niro with Bruce Lee´s Body:)

  • this is one of the few horros that scare me, thanks so much for putting it on here!

  • fsfsfcsd

  • Lol he's watching the movie problem child hahahAa

  • You're welcome!

  • "What about your books?"......"Alreadyreadum'"

    LOL! I love De Niro!

  • Is that you, counselor?

  • blink182...you're my hero :-) Thanks for posting this sexy movie (yes it is SEXY because of...well you know who) LOL

  • Man he was shape for this, first film since Raging Bull I saw him in that type of shape

  • @YoungGrizzly82 he was fit in taxi driver too if you saw that. made back in 1976

  • One of De Niro's best pieces of work, I love this film!

  • Even though not as horrifying as the original, it is still chilling. I love both.

  • I must say the Robert Mitchum version is my favorite of the two as it seems more realistic to me, though Cady seems scarier in this version.

    Thanks for posting

  • Juliette Lewis always was thin.

That vagina, and knowledge that thin girls are better in sex must mean that she is good in the sack

  • @Reverseflush I think not. You're a Cunt and a Bitch. Thin girls are Whores and Sluts just like your mother.

  • I decided to put this movie cause, one day I wanted to watch it and I looked on youtube if some has it, but apparently nobody had it on it, so I decided to put it on youtube, and for the people to enjoy it, this a really good movie, I grew up with this movie, and I remembered that my parents always told me not to watch this movie, but I always did, so I hope you like this movie.. thanks:), and part8..... Im trying to figure out how to put it on youtube, so it will come soon..

  • @blink182invenezuela thank you my friend for this movie

  • DE NIRO IS A GREAT ACTOR! one of the very best !prolly in the top 3 of all times in my book

  • Wow i didnt know DeNiro used to be so HOT!

  • Bobby Deniro, you are god.

  • Both versions are great ! So glad I discovered them. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :P

  • this would have been better if the movie was set in 1962!

  • juliette lewis can catch it

  • This movie was really, really, really good. I like the 1962 film, and I think both are best if viewed as different takes on the same story. The only thing I didn't like about the movie is the scene where Cady (DeNiro, in another magnetic performance)rapes and beats a young co-worker that Bowden (Nolte) had been two-timing his wife (Lange) with; that scene was very graphic and disturbing.

  • only deniro can get away with this behavior.

  • jackie brown was a underrated deniro project....classic sicko...

  • thank god youtube didnt take this down!

  • This is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. I couldn't sleep after I watched it for the first time.

  • @GEVMM if you like this ,then try the movie maniac made in 1980 with joe spinell,,,it will scare the hell out of you

  • What's cool about Deniro is he always morphs both not just mentally but physically. Cape Fear, The Untouchables, Raging Bull, Taxi Driver.

  • juliet lewis is ugly

  • @area51er6 and a Scientologist

  • That laugh is infectious. Shows how great an actor De Niro is, how he can be make you laugh and be terrified of the charactder in the same film.

  • Freaking love this movie. Scorsese sure knows how to tell a story. My brother hates how de Niro was in a crap load of his films, and now Leo is the same. He says Scorsese "can't let go of good talent". I however, love it!! If I were a director, I would want de Niro in all of my films too! One of the greatest actors of all time!

  • Whats better the original version or this one...?

  • @iampoopman Its a tough call. Both are very good. But, the Original is.......The Original.

    Which one do you like?

  • AAAAAHHHHH! SIDESHOW BOB!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • President Fred Thompson in an early scene there.

  • The real bastard in this remake was the lawyer - Sam Bowden. Its disturbing how a film can fool you into thinking he is the victimised hero.

  • @Jeorney No he's not. He buried the info about the girl being promiscuous but the guy really did rape her. It's not like he was innocent.

  • @fashionhistorylover The promiscuous girl deserved to raped. The Whore should've been gang raped. Teen girls are nothing but Whores and Sluts.

  • mmm.

    Love that stang

  • i hope when im old, i look as bad ass as deniro in this role

  • Nice tattoos

  • badass quality ^_^

  • already read em'.

  • I was born when this came out!

  • yep dinero owns this movie plus juliet is freaking hott'

  • Thanks for uploading dude!!!

  • Up until the last decade, De Niro was the best actor ever. Need proof? Watch The Deer Hunter, Raging Bull, Cape Fear, Jacknife, Goodfellas, Casino, Heat, Taxi Driver, Awakenings, etc...His choice of movies lately is questionable but I do think he had enough, he is now doing comedies, getting paid, and having fun. Leo is Scorcese's new protege. He is getting up in age and those attractive movie roles don't come across often. He is riding the Fockers gravy train as he did in analyze this n that.

  • @phinfan01 you didn"t mention his breakthrough role, Johnny boy in Mean Streets! & how could you not mention his oscar wining role in Godfather part 2 or the Jewish gangster epic Once upon a time in America

  • awww hell! uuagghhh Cady's out of goddam jail..... aww hell!

  • she is a fuck pig

  • Did he walk into the camera at 4:17?

  • @reln72 lol ya he stuck his face right into it

  • damn what cigars does he buy?

  • I've been watching De Niro movies for the last week and all I can say is His acting is so good it's scary! He lives the role and it creeps me out.

(and his body is disgustingly ripped in this movie).

  • What a superb cast!

  • Great acting! I am not much of a Nolte fan, but he is great in this movie. Thanks for posting!

  • he just busted out from jail and yet he's acting like a dumbass who haven't seen a comedy show in decades

  • @Xymphora91 comedy shows are for faggots (ha ha ha ha ha ha clap clap cheer!)

  • De Niro is pretty creepy in this one : ) great movie and great acting on all parts

  • Apart from Scorcese's and DeNiro's religious hangups, this was a well done flik.

  • to all robert de niro's fans add him on your facebook ..

  • @rrookie25 does he have an offcial facebook page, i mean one that he actually posts on ??.

  • thx for posting

  • Did John D. MacDonald write the book

  • oh, John Ritter @ 5:56...... i miss him :(

  • Jessica Lang is hot in this movie

  • yes it is a cool movie i can see that from the start

  • i think the simpsons de a parody of this movie i an episode with side show bob can enyone tell me wich season its in

  • gotta love deniro... and that lawyer is such a typical hypocritical douche

  • De Niro's body looks remarkable for someone who then was almost 50.

  • was thinking about this movie the other day, thanks for the upload

  • THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN..MAX KADY IS IN MY DREAS YEARS NOW......

  • thanks for movies i could not find this movies thanks anyway stingray

  • The moral of the story has changed from the original. Originally, the moral of the story is, "that man's an animal, so you must fight him like an animal." The new moral of the story is, "Max Cady is the way he is because of Christian fundamentalism." I completely disagree with the latter since there's no evidence for any case remotely related to it. Ironically, the malicious character of the story represents the outcome of Scorsese's own relativistic morality, not Christianity.

  • @EdMahoney19 Where do we begin? First of all I do not think that the moral of this film is that fundamentalism creates monsters, I think Scorsese was just creating a bacground for Cady ( in fact in the movie Cady quotes and refers to many different sources, books etc and they're certainly not all religious) and creating ideas for him in which to identify his vision of justice(an eye for an eye and all that shit).

  • @EdMahoney19 The moral could be the one that you named for the previous movie or it could just simply be a little reflection on human nature(in observing both Cady and the lawyer).

It I also wants,I think, to show us what hate can transform us into. I also think that you are wrong and that fundmentalism indeed DOES create monsters. Because of their idiotic religious beliefs people throught history have done disgusting things.

  • @EdMahoney19 Just think of the witch burning of the middle ages or all the stupid wars we have done or of all the little twisted fanatic men killing or killing themselves because of their beliefs.

And finally, I don't agree on what you say about Scorsese. He's a brilliant director and I think his portray is rather realistic and objective.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 I don't question his talent in making movies, otherwise, I wouldn't like them. However, he's unquestionably got religious hangups. The number of people killed in the name of atheism, with abortion, socialism, and what not, staggers the imagination. Everyone invokes the salem witch trials, which was based on pagan Roman law, not Christian theology. So, get your facts straight.

  • @EdMahoney19 True, people have indeed been killed in the name of different things(socialism is not atheism by the way), but religion wins the prize. Humans are stupid and have created many lovely things(such as idiotic religions or politics) to kill each other. As for the burnings, saying that they were based on paganism is pure hypocrisy, even if it was true it was the church who did it, wasn't it? And there are many other horrible things done in the name of their god, so let's not play dumb.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 The primary philosophy motivating nearly all atrocities in the 20th century were all spawned (pardon the pun) from the theory of evolution, which is atheism in its purest form since it posits that all fauna and flora are the product of blind forces. Mao, Pol Pot, Lenin, Stalin, Castro, abortion doctors, the New World Order secret societies who foment wars in the Middle East, all share this evolution philosophy.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 I forgot to add that it was freemasons, who are gnostic, who operate within Scotch Irish Protestantism that foment controversy with the Irish Catholics in Northern Ireland.

  • @EdMahoney19 Believers prove once again that discussing with them is useless because they are completely crazy, irrational and just see what they want to see. Nevermind. If you reall think that the theory of evolution created all the evil in the world I really don't think that it's possible to reason with you.

    Stupid of me to try.

Btw, it's interesting to see how you chaps have not evolved at all in the last 2000 years. Pardon the pun.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 Evolution was invoked by every mass murderer in the 20th century. Even Jeffrey Dahmer and a number of serial killers invoke evolution to sanction their crimes. I don't see any secular evolutionists or atheists out feeding and clothing the poor, but I see plenty of Christian missionaries doing that. Your definition of an evolved person is morally warped.

  • @EdMahoney19 I think that what you are trying to say is that some killers used natural selection as a giustification for their actions. That may be true.

But that doesn't mean that it's darwin's fault and saying that it's all the evolution's fault is plain stupid. People can use anything as a pretext, even cartoons. The church, following all the nonsense written in the bible, has done and keeps doing an amazing number ofterrible things and many believers are educated to be brainwashed fools.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 All you do is make conslusory statements and name call with groundless accusations. That hardly constitutes cogent debate.

  • @EdMahoney19 All you do is keep saying that I am wrong and you are right witouth examples or proofs or valid answers. Funny huh?

For example, isntead of saying that I bring "groundless accusations", how come you don't talk about pedophiles in the church, or wars of faith, or torture or other things I mentioned?

  • @EdMahoney19

Do you think that missionaries are the only ones helping?

No atheist doctors and nurses in the world? No charity run by non believers?

No organizations run by people who are motivated just by solidarity and desire to help people rather than making their god happy?

You live in deranged world created by lies written thousands of years ago.

And the morals of our book and of your church are disgusting, pure hypocrisy.

Spare me this bullshit and try to think on your own.

  • @SpawnRevenge92 Lies? Anybody who denies God exists is nuts and bought into the lies of the devil himself. You should read the deathbed confessions of your atheists and secular humanists. They aren't too pleasant. Even the renown atheist Antony Flew renounced his atheism before he died. The Bible is a set of books produced over two milleniums and gives a consistent revelation of mesiah that consumates in Jesus Christ who rose from the dead. That's pretty strong evidence for its veracity.

  • @EdMahoney19 How is a book written 2000 years ago proof of anything? How can it be proven right? It can't. It's just circular logica all over again.

The "devil himself" argument is awesome, funny as hell I should say. Ridicolous.

Yeah, thinkers all over the world have said revolting things. Atheist too, I agree.

How come you can't admit that church and all the happy friends said many horrible things too?

  • @EdMahoney19

You speak of a loving god who allows suffering behond anything you can imagine.

You speak of homosexuality as a wrong thing but it's fine that the church has been covering up pedophiles for centuries.

You speak of free will and obey everything because you fear god and hell.

You believe that the church is good, as
