  • Looks beautiful, man. And the music is really awesome too!

  • Not really my style, but super cool nonetheless!

  • Héééy Duude .. we need to talk !

  • Question, brilliant maker of beautiful instrument . . . what did you bond the wood to the acrylic with? Cheers, Sieffe (New Zealand)

  • how much do you want if you can make me one for random star shape and holes for humbuckers?

  • would you consider selling one? and roughly how much would it be name your price i do understand that these guitars were hand made so dont be modest with the price :)

  • wow! you are a good luthier! :)

  • tone is bassed on just pick ups

  • @mahajanparth spoken like a true half-wit ;)

  • @ledheadtlc actually he is sort of right, the body material has a lot less to do with it than the pickups. Any material with structural integrity can make a perfectly good electric guitar.

  • @alex84950 while the body material may have less to do with tone than the pickups, you can't say that it has no effect on tone whatsoever; body shape/material, neck, fretboard (even the frets), bridge, everything affects the overall tone of the guitar

  • @mahajanparth That statement is more confusing as Chas Bono at a urinal ?? You must have MINUTES under your lutherie belt !!

  • (and your daughter is cutest...)XD...

  • OH...MY...GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!

    XD...

  • The guitar is sexy, and your playing is good too!

  • @ihasacat We are talking about electric guitars here mate..not acoustics...The tone doesnt suffer one bit.Look at the ibanez 20th anniversary jem.Its has acrylic body but because it was built like a jem..it sounds like one.Pure and simple.Material has such a small part on the shaping of sound that is almost inaudible. At least in solid body electrics.Acoustics are of course a whole other issue.By the way....this is one of the coolest guitars i have ever seen....kudos to the maker.

  • song?

  • Parabéns pelo instrumento! Ficou muito interessante!

  • @BenjaminL96 I really think guitar body has to do with the tone coz string vibrate diffrently on different types of of body material.. even the fretboard material gives its own tonal characteristic.

  • @BenjaminL96 this is not true!

  • seriously cool! great job :)

  • Very, very, cool sir. Cute kid too!

  • Your guitar looks awesome, great job! I've created a concrete guitar. Please visit my channel, I'm conducting a sound comparison test against a wooden bodied electric and would like as much feedback as possible. Thanks!

  • hey!!! that's the one superman played in the crystal palace!!!

  • Steike fine gitara, Magnus!:D

  • @Deathrape and you know that the "Vai" guitar you refer to has both the back scallop and the arm bevel right? Sounds like you need to make your own guitar, they way you think it should be done. It could save you the frustrations of seeing so many flaws in other designs.

  • @magnusskoglund Nice guitars dude, Good job. How did you keep the acrylic on the wood so clear, did you glue it on there or pour the acryl on top of the wood.

  • Sounds cool u should build one like it.

  • & do the neck in clear plastic - including the fret board, & light it up from the inside! Now THAT would look AWESOME! =) Really, U don't need the wood back. It's much cooler 2 have an 'all clear' guitar, not 1 that mimics wood (WTF?)

  • The back bevel is fuking RETARDED! Reminds me of those 'topped' guitars with an idiot 'arm bevel' - KILLS the vibe COMPLETELY! It's like a house with a fancy front door, but 1 corner is all duct taped up, or missing all of the stain ROFL!! =)) Give me a break! Make it a flat back, or put the wood in the MIDDLE of the acrylic. & make the neck clear 2 - would look way more interesting =D

  • @Deathrape2001 Yes because you would ABSOLUTELY get the same lengthy sustain that solid acrylic guitars achieve with the wood in the center of two slabs of acrylic. **COUGH"sarcasm"COUGH** Makes the technical use of acrylic completely pointless, but from what I read in your post you obviously think that acrylic is used for guitar bodies solely for the aesthetic purpose.

  • @BrownyCakes1 Sustain & cosmetics R 2 different things, clown. I am talking purely about COSMETIC issues, & U R pretending not 2 notice 1 of my suggestions was 2 forgo the rear scallop & have a flat back so there is no piece missing =) U made a mistake. It looks very lame - like those guitars with 'fancy' tops, only 2 fuk it up by having an arm bevel or something that cuts through past the top. Take the good advice & try again =D

  • @Deathrape2001 Yes, I was saying earlier they are two different things. And yes, I did notice your suggestion, but I think it would have been horrendously uncomfortable to play. Which, in my opinion is also a cosmetic issue. So now that we're both talking about the same type of issue, which would you rather have; full wood grain that is present across the entire back and a square edge jutting into your ribcage, or a scallopped back sacrificing little cosmetic effect for much more playability?

  • @BrownyCakes1 Type all U want, cow, but U know everything I said is obvious & correct =) Get a grip. U made a mistake! Next thing U R gonna' tell me is Sotoro is good 4 America. You're insane =D U don't believe a thing U R saying. This isn't a debate. I just stated an obvious, verifiable fact, & U R sitting there pretending Tuna R birds. It's quite surreal =))

  • @Deathrape2001 I'm tired of arguing with a 10-year old. Good day.

  • @BrownyCakes1 Go on with your 'kill-the-messenger' dance. Everything I say is correct, backed by obvious evidence & U know it. This isn't a debate. I'm doing U a favor, U jerk. Sell that krap 2 some fool on Ebay & try again =D Next time don't put a scallop on the back, & make the neck clear. No point doing wood either, as clear is even more interesting. Instead, install lights, & better yet, paint swirly stuff on the surface like a Vai guitar, in fluorescent colors. WoW

  • @Deathrape2001

    What evidence?

I know I wasn't at all a part of the original argument. but you're argument is based on your opinions. It's all about your opinions. so what facts and evidence are you even talking about?

  • @m3rcy616 This isn't a debate. Everything I say is simple, obvious, & true. I'm bored ever reading the troll krap people spew. It's all just 'kill-the-messenger' rants & other garbage. I'm not here 2 have a 'discussion' about the FACT that the back bevel ruins the motif. I'm just here saying 'birds fly' and 'fish swim'. Get a grip, loser.

  • @Deathrape2001

Can you even comment without trying to fit an insult into it?

    It's unnecessary.

You wanna make a point, make a point. Insult slinging isn't required.

  • @m3rcy616 Attacking me doesn't change the fact everything I said is obvious & correct. Go on with your trolling.

  • @Deathrape2001

    ...Right.

Whatever makes you feel good about yourself.

  • @m3rcy616 Go on troll. Do some more 'kill-the-messenger' dance 4 us. DANCE troll DANCE! =))

  • @mroli: the steve vai song 'now we run' nominated for grammys is made of this i'm sure... saying it sounds rubbish is definetly not correct i guess, i mean c mon ..ibanez jem! i do wonder how it will sound though, is it a compromize from the wood sound or just different?

  • Looks amazing, do want!

  • thats awesome, but there isnt a tone wood besides that layer of spalted maple, so i wonder how it would sound...

  • did you build them or buy it? if you built it could yo tell me how

  • Looks very good bout the sound is rubbish

  • @MrOlllllllllllliiiii I don't think the music is made with this guitar, almost certainly an acoustic

  • This is true but i`ve mean the sound from an acyril guitar.

  • Horrible! Thats not a guitar anymore ....

  • I'm curious to hear your reasoning behind that BS?

  • how do you think that didnt sound good

  • i'm curious about the process, how do you make the body, do you make a mold out of a normal guitar body and then pour the acrylic in?

  • @FadeToBlack181 I'm pretty sure he made it on a CNC machine, out of a slab of acrylic

  • holy god!!!!!!! oh my god oh my god OMFG!! I really like it... i want some one hehe... awesome work dude!! ... ocngratulations for your work (and sorry for my bad english) .. 5/5 ... greetings from argentina !
