  • where do i find this band? i watched them play when i was 17 have their cd and never could find them again.

  • Victoria fucking rules! Totally insane vox!

  • as for the person (s) asking about victoria, she and her husband , david, had a band called karst that did a glow in the dark 7" and a full length cd on hater of god records. they are parents now and as such aren't doing any music at the moment . david also had a band called das kriminal around the same time as damad and another called institute that was pretty bad ass. check them out if you can find them . look for institute at yellowdog records , i believe.

  • i was at this show and it was awesome. still have the reunion shirt as well. i remember way back before they had any records , my band , seeds of confusion , practiced in the same old building as damad in downtown savannah. those days were great just being able to watch them do there thing up close. it was obvious they had thier stuff together.by the way , this particular show was a benefit foe jack control of world burns to death , shos , after he was stabbed.

  • FUCK YEAH MY FRIEND! =D

    DAMN GOOD BAND.

  • i shoulda been here..

  • Sick band! does anybody know the film that samples are taken from on rise and fall?

  • They samples are from Swimming With Sharks, starring Kevin Spacey. I brought it a few weeks ago because of Rise and Fall, it's awesome.

  • Yeah, I found out a few days after I posted that. Thanks anyway I look forward to seeing it.

  • Damad is awesome! I saw them once when I was in california. they ruled!

  • Solid band and solid individuals. When Vomitus toured in 96' Victoria was instrumental in helping them book venues. I remember Stephen- the vocalist for Vomitus introducing me to Damad.

  • band sucks

  • I wish more young bands would continue doing this instead of the trendy metalcore shit that's so popular. Then again it makes it easier to keep track of who's really down and who's just going to sell out eventually.

  • this band is not young

  • REREAD what I wrote, I was pointing out that today's bands could learn a lesson or ten from bands like Damad.

  • touche'

  • Whats Victoria doing since damad broke up?

  • she did something wit something called Karst you can find em on interpunk besides that i dunno

  • victoria from damad. Saw them in 93-94. Still have their demo with chris playing drums. He played guitar in my old band Scumfest. Wow.
