@mirandaann1234 lol Some women just aren't used to seeing them selves without makeup very often, especially if you wear it daily, you get a bit of a shock honestly looking at your makeupless face and think you look like crap even when you look completely normal to everyone else. Marlena is gorgeous makeup ''on'' or ''off'' but she's entitled to her own opinion, the only real issue I notice with her is her dark circles and I can understand why she'd cover it but her skin is great.

@anngormanloves It would be INSANELY expensive! A small tube of Too Faced Or Urban Decay eye primers are like $20-ish... and if you used it on your face you'd only get like 3 applications. Not to mention the consistency is completely different, and probably wouldn't work as well. I've tried almost every brand of face primer they carry at Sephora and the best by far is Make-Up ForEver HD Primer (I use the green one).

1) This seems like an awful lot of work to do to yourself every day

2) Don't you think this is kind of a "misrepresentation" of who you really are?

3) What happens if you attract someone based on what they THINK you look like one night, and then they wake up next to you and you go wash all the makeup off, and they don't recognize you and become UN-attracted to you?

@billykid84 1) She was talking and demonstrating, so it took longer to do the steps. This is just a 5 minute routine for her because she does this daily.

2) If you look at the before/after picture again, you can see that the difference is not really that huge. It's just a matter of finishing. It's not plastic surgery, she's still herself.

3) Sounds like a one night stand. I don't think those are meant to be taken seriously. Besides, if you like the personality, you'll like everything else too.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is, that I'd think it would be a little dangerous for women (especially YOUNG women) to become so reliant on makeup to feel... "OK" with themselves. Or at least, dangerous when it gets to the point that they feel self-conscious WITHOUT it. That seems like chains that could bind you...

@BUNNYLOVA23 Not at all- it really doesn't matter. I put my foundation on first because I feel like if I do concealer first, blending in the fondation after transfers my concealer and I don't get as much coverage. There are no wrongs in makeup- it's personal choice.

@BUNNYLOVA23 Not at all. By applying foundation first, you can see what areas need extra coverage. Those problem areas will show up but not as intensely due to the foundation. Now, you can hide those areas with conceiler. You'll find that this way, you'll use less conceiler and save a lot of product. However, if you apply the foundation first, you need to make sure that the conceiler matches the foundation perfectly, or else you'll have mismatching conceiler spots on your face.

Im using MAC studio fix too and I find it a bit darker than my skin (the closest I can get) especially when im sweating or when my face started to become oily (usually in the afternoon). But the coverage is good. But I wanna try Revlon after this, plus the price gap is kinda big too. yeay! oh! and the mist, yeah I use it everyday too.

Great video as usual, I'm going to get that fixing spray. To EmblaDeFarfala I used to have those spots and the way I got rid of them (over time) was to exfoliate regularly at least twice a week. It worked for me:)

I have a problem with my lashes... When I curl my lashes, no matter if I heat up the last curler or not, they just won't stay curled once I apply mascara. @Hyorene Line ur upper water line, watch gossmakeupartist flawless face to watch how, with a kohl pencil black or white depending on eye size. You can either line the whole water line or just till where your lashes end. Curl lashes and take an eyebrow brush, and put the thin comb side underneath ur eyelashes and blink. Use loreal double extend step one so it will seperate and prep your lashes. Then apply mascara, wither the one provided or a different one but make sure the white is covered.

They create a smooth face and skin, making the foundation look smoother, more flawless and longer lasting. Bases are clear/invisible. Foundation is coloured to match your skin tone and acts like a second lay of skin :)
