@az09983 pretty much use my body weight and pull back combined with the gas and its really easy to get up. Look at my Fraser island video it has a few close ups of how i do it. Lots of practise!!

@troy824 Thats great to hear mate, as far as running in, I would not baby it too much just ride it like you normally would but don't thrash it at first, the motor will run in super fast anyways, allways use GOOD and expensive oil in your fuel, never put shit oil in it and it will last for ages. @Brankas Hi mate thanks for the comment, The JD Jetting kit was the best money I have spent! It makes a HUGE difference and much better fuel economy for long trips, I can get 130klm's easy on 1 tank. Order a kit you wont regret it at all..Try the jetting before you do anything else. Cheers Christian.

@putachevinit Yeah man, it says use a 162 main jet "i think" i use the blue needle in the middle clip to start, i ride mostly at sea level and temps ferom 20-30 degrees c. Its a good starting point, you'll notice a massive difference straight away,if your really serious get it dyno tuned and you can get it better again. Really no need to do that tho!

I am using the yellow powervalve spring cos when I was using the red one it had very little bottom end power and all hell breaks loose up top. I have had the bike for 3 years now and the power still suprises me! , still not bored of it yet either. cheers bud

Hi Mate camera is a cheapie off ebay, ws $50 Aus, it has a 12v input and av outputs which i plug into a Sony handycam! Works sweet! Thanks for the comments

have you played with the dual ignition curves yet or do you just leave that stock. I'm buying a 300 xc within the month and I'm already buying goodies for it and a dual ignition switch is a priority along with wrap arounds, heq skidplate, radiator braces, etc etc.... Any feed back on your experience with thiose modifications would be appreciated. Thanks and great post!

Yeah mate I put the switch on a while back, don't use it much except on really snotty hills of loose rock etc but it works well, really keeps the wheelspin down to a minimum. I need to get a set of radiator braces but there are some really good ones on the market so im sure you'll have no probs getting a good set. If your 6ft or over get a set of bar raisers as they make a huge difference for comfort and ride ability as well. Good Luck and cheers for the comments!
