Just bought one and absolutely love it! Best looking crossover on the road inside and out. If you are thinking of purchasing a crossover I highly suggest test driving the XC60 last. Certainly the most solid car I have ever owned. Volvo hit the nail on the head with this car in every way…. Go Volvo!
I printed off a picture of this truck, then rolled it up and fucked my self in the ass the entire time I watched this. Whats left of the picture is on sale on ebay if anyone is interested.

Anyway,I don't wanna buy a Volvo.I love American cars now. When i'm gonna have a lot of money then I'm gonna buy an American car instead. But thanks for the respond
@smellytoilet1996 good to know you love american cars too. but there it is: you don't have to have a lot of money to buy an american car! Take a 2002 Tahoe for example.. they are getting really cheap.
Well...I love American cars but the ones that are old,but I also like the new ones(for example:the new Dodge Charger or Chrysler 300C are beautiful, and the
I dunno..i got 500 grand in malaysian ringgit to buy a car..i can get an XC 60,XC 90,X3,and a Q7..for that price,i could get a Porsche cayman here but i want something that I can actually carry ppl in..so I guess the XC 60 is the best??
it's always a pleasure to get stuck in haha, wtf? sure it's nice to drive the car but to get stuck is never nice no mather what, but maybe to get stuck in this volvo is the exception? :P
I am not a professional car tester but I did test drive it. The engine is pretty nice. Lots of power and very smooth. I drive a S-Line Audi and it performed just like the Audi meaning it was nimble like a sports compact car yet much bigger. Where did I test drive this car? I took it out on a tank trail near a military training area in Germany in the snow (yes I did). Very good car and a solid performance for a brand new model.
What's the big whoop about fwd? I really dont think putting that on a fairly large vehicle will be the best getting you unstuck from snow, Or getting you up a hill after you HAVE to stop, Not a good idea guys, Not a good idea.
the big whoop is about the option to have fwd,to get better gas milage, for people who just want a really big car,who don't need the extra traction, though their is a awd version for the people that do need the extra traction.
terrible car for smart people. awesome car for stupid people. "hey honey, lets remove the brake pedal and put a bar fridge down there! this thing stops automatically!"
Got the chance to go in one of these for a test where I work (I won't say where I work, but its in vehicle research). We had a Diesel Auto. I didn't really like it to be fair. it looks very nice from the outside, but the interior is very boring, the seats were not very comfortable compared to the Volvo C30 SE Sport R-Design I have been in. The engine noise was very loud in the cabin at low speeds I thought aswell. Good to look at but I would pay 30 odd grand for it in my opinion.
Actually I don't drive and any 4x4 and Premium vehicle (like a BMW 7 series) will depreciate like a stone over 3 years. So i'm not interested. Sounds like your a bit jealous of my job though, just so you know we are getting the Toyota IQ in on monday, which has been shipped from a motorshow for us becuase there aren't any pre-production models yet. Actually become an expert in vehicle research before putting your none existent opinion onto me.
Personally I don't drive the cars as of yet, i'm in the process of getting my licence, but as soon as that is done then yeah, I will be driving things that you won't see on the road for about 3 months, we don't get any supercars though, only cars that fleets will buy like big banks and stuff, we have to figure out how much the car will be worth in a couple of years time thats why we get them in. The only sort of semi-supercar I know we will be getting is the Nissan GT-R, for those big executives
I DO drive them for a living. I have to disagree with your interior remarks. It is a design philosophy. Scandanavian is minimalist. Sounds like you still have some learning to do daleo. The C30R seat is stiffer through the bolster. because of the type of car it is. Volvo seats in general are thught of as the most comfortable in the industry. In the regard of safety, nothing remotely comes close to the XC60 in this segment.
You seem to be arguing about points I haven't raised? Personally I think the minamilist look doesn't bode well in a big car like the XC60/XC90, but thats my opinion. I was in a C30 again on friday, and also a Mitsubishi Evo X FQ 300 and the Volvo was light years ahead in terms of interior design/quality and comfort. Hopefully i'll be in the Vauxhall insignia on Monday/Tuesday so I can compare that aswell.
sorry couldn't fit the Hyundai question on the last message. It isn't on list at the moment, and we might not get it in. If we see a need to test it though, somebody will ring up Hyundai and ask for one to be delivered.
The video seemed sped up. Is this in PAL format?
