  • "I refuse to make age an issue in this election. I will not use my opponent's youth and inexperience against him" pure gold.

  • Lance Armstrong fights off cancer, and he's considered a hero, McCain fights off cancer, and he 'has many health issues'????

Besides, you don't honestly believe Byrd et al. to have Barack Obama's health, either, now do you? I don't mind people having different opinions but at least keep it rational & based on public credentials.

  • How strange these complaints about McCain being to old to be in office, he's only 72.

Only, as several Senators are much older. The Dems feature the eldest, former KKKK member Robert Byrd (90, old enough to be McCain's father) (if Pelosi, Bush and Cheney would die, he'd be Prez). Some other older Dems are the Daniels Inouye and Akaka (both 84, from Barack's Hawai) and of course Ted Kennedy (76).

Enlighten me, are these gentlemen also too old to hold public office?

  • McCain has many health issues

  • especially mental

  • KKKK???

  • Old politics?

So picking a vp candidate who has been in office since NIXON was president is NEW???

What a joke. Chane - yeah right!

  • John McCain is a very desperate old man.

  • McCain is an old MAN! Obama is the right choice for america. THe only energy policy mccain should promote is letting me use him as a fossil fuel since hes a dinosaur. Obama is making real changes by not giving into lobbyists like mccain.

Vets hate McCain because hes a traitor. He didnt sign the gi bill. He sat out the war in jail without escaping. He couldnt even fly a plane and crashed it. Loser all around and I dont want a loser for president.

    Get BaROCKED! Catch the Obamenon!

  • I found out im 2 years older then obama is. i voted for him. he has a great spirit and seems 'real'

  • McCain HAS to attack Obama, the election is a REFERENDUM on Obama, McCain is smart to attack Obama on his opposition to nuclear and domestic drilling, on his cult status, and lack of experience.. ITS WORKING

    McCain 47%

    Obama 46%

    Today's Rasmussen Presidential poll

  • We'll see. It's August. There has not even been a debate yet. Let's hope the American people, regardless of where they stand on the issues, will vote from an informed perspective rather than being made asses out of with one side demonizing the other.

  • McCain does talk about the issues, but this is a democratic election year where a historic first, electing a black, is possible. The election is about whether the black democrat is ready to be our president. WE KNOW mccain is ready, he has an amazing resume..We dont KNOW if Obama is yet because he just got elected a couple years ago and started running for prez almost right away.

  • Leave the Old to the Old. Vote OBAMA for president to Save America. YES WE CAN. YES WE CAN. YES WE CAN have a CHANGE.

  • McCain worshipers lack any substantive ideas to debate with and instead rely on childish ad-hominems, smear tactics, and FUD marketing ploys. (I know I'm broad-brushing - I'm sure there are exceptions, I just haven't seen any yet)

  • I agree with you man. I'm sick and tired of McCain/Rove attack ads. It's funny they called Obama a liar when he stated the reason that he backed away from public financing was because of the negative ads that they were going to throw at him. Well now look at them and what do you know Obama wasn't lying at all.

  • I think Obama needs to land a stronger punch on McCain, too, but since the attacks aren't working this time for the Republicans, Obama is doing the right thing by simply stating how ridiculous and desperate the Republicans seem to appear.

  • This is way too soft. John McCain is a serial liar and needs to be taken out by showing his own words against him.

  • its too bad obama is so light on his ads, he needs to use some tougher language to show how fucked up mccains politics are...

  • the last thing he wants to do it give the media ammunition to portray a "heated battle" between the candidates and risk turning too many voters off. over time, i hope that gently pointing out that mccain does little more than attack will speak for itself to voters as to who mccain really is -- not much different from karl rove etc

  • Barrack needs to stamp out McCain's dirty old politics.

The last 8 years have been brutal. We can not afford another 8 years with a joker who is pretending to be a conservative.

  • Obama 08

    Yes We Can!
