This song literally brought me back 10 months ago. I saw my whole past in my eyes from month1-10 while i listened to this song. Crazy how similar my life was/is to this song. I really do miss her too. sigh.

Assuming that this song has to be about a girl because all his other songs are about girls is fairly shallow. He is a deep enough songwriter to be able to branch out from any particular vein, and even inject multiple meanings into one song.

he's very christian.

the whole band is. he's stated in many interviews that he just chooses not to write about religion but started dashboard as a "christians in a band" not a "christian band" thing.

he said he became christian because back when he was young all his friends were so against it, it made him interested in it. and he got hooked.
