take nothing away from the goal, but i can't make out whether it takes the slightest of deflections off the defender's studs - watch from 0:48-0:51. would anyone share their views on this?

on another note, watch this goal by shaun bartlett - it's very similar to jankulovski's. he scored it for charlton while they were still in the premier league. it won the goal of the season award, if (by comparison) that says how good jankulovski's goal was.
