i cant even begin to estimate the hours of fun that deus ex has given me in plot, gameplay mechanics, replayability i mean if you get into the game and you enjoy the story there are TONS of little details that will amaze you, be it hacked emails eavesdropped conversations, newspapers, books its an amazing methodical cyberpunk universe built almost 12 years ago!! I mean if you play it to the fullest its going to be a 100 part playthrough...at least... but you will enjoy every minute of it ;)

1. System Shock 2 - Put off playing this for years, but when I did get round to playing it I couldn't stop. Very atmospheric and unsettling.

2. Fallout 1

4. Deus Ex

5. Shadowrun (Super Nintendo)

FALLOUT!! It's so long and fun and ridiculous, you'll absolutely love it as long as you fully (I do mean fully) accept how different the gameplay is from Fallout 3. Behind that, Deus Ex looked pretty awesome. Also, LOL, thanks for acknowledging the 5%, makes me feel special XD

I've seen some gameplay footage of Fallout 1 so I'm somewhat familiar with how different it is, but I avoided learning too much as I wanted to keep it fresh. I've read the manual though, which came with the game when buying it from GOG. As I understand it, it's more like Baldur's Gate, which is fine with me :)

I think Thief would make for an interesting playthrough.

Deus Ex as a second option would be quite entertaining.

I'm basing my decision on how entertaining watching other people play may be and not just how good the game is.

Fallout 1 - I played FA2 first and slightly prefer it. Holds its own against the newer games in the series.

Deus Ex - Another of my all-time faves.

Space Quest - I played a bit of the EGA version on a PC emulator on my Arc.

Thief - Probably got into it a bit late. By then, I had already played other games with stealth mechanic.

Bladurs Gate - Would probably like it if not for the fantasy setting.

Amnesia - Curious to see it in action.

I used to play it (with only a solo char) to no end back in the days, with removed level cap, higher level rule patch, etc.

I loved the freedom the game gave one, and definately the whole atmosphere and exploration AND it being D&D. :]

But I actually never finished the game, because my old PC was too crappy and would always die on the final battle, even with low grafik settings. xD

First vote: Space Quest 1. I loved this game back when it was released and it was the first adventure game I ever completed. I must have had A LOT of patience back then with the text parser and my limited knowledge of the English language.

Second vote: Fallout 1. I remember playing and liking this game a lot but can't remember much else about it. It would be nice to see if I still remember anything about the game at all.

I'd like to see Fallout 1. The atomic/post apocalyptic settings are some things I really can not stand, I just can not cope with them. So I'll never play Fallout. But I am very curious to what this is all about. First vote then: Fallout 1.

Second vote would be Space Quest 1. It is one of the games, that helped create a whole genre.

Baldur's Gate would be rather long (longer than SC2, probably). Amnesia is not for somebody with my weak nerves. So, both out :)

I have played that a bit but its difficult to keep track of where earth is and where I want to go next

@slenkar I just wrote down the names and tried to visit whole clusters at once. So I just wrote down centauri if I'd visited all the centauri systems. It also helped having a video record of where I'd been :)

If you end up playing Thief, do you plan to play it vanilla? As-is? There are a lot of fan-made updates and enhancements that improve the graphics, add widescreen support, etc.

Congrats on 512 subs and over 100k views! But damn it Jim, you're not making this easy at all! Great batch of games and I reckon all of them would make for fine videos. I will pick fallout, I played it a little about 5 years ago but couldn't really get into it for various reasons. I also recently finished Fallout New Vegas so would be fun to see how it ties back with the canon. In case of a tie Space Quest should be a laugh, even if you're cowarding out of the awesome old classic text version.

Congratulations! Hard choice of the game. Many true classics there. I spent one summer playing Baldurs Gate. I played tons of Fallout 2 too. My #1 vote would definitely be Fallout 1. Second favorite would be Baldurs Gate.
