  • Yes... these things happen when you race. I have a Karting background myself and I would have pushed my nose into every single gap I saw there on a video :) Coming in bit late with brakes and then just leaving the option for another driver if he/she wants to close that gap and crash or just let me in :) I know... my driving isn't the most "sportmanship-y", I definitely agree being an aggressive driver. But that's something I learnt during 15-16 years of Karting. Anyways, all the best to you!

  • The fact that this driver is willing to take criticism, and see it constructively, should put her in a good light among fellow racers. Now, if I may be so bold........

If you are still driving this car, and it has remain unchanged or you have not changed the set up......consider losing a few teeth on the tail gears and decrease the time between shifts. Car appeared to have plenty of power, but you lost some ground on the straits. Next time...... jerk the wheel RIGHT..!!! HaHa glad your ok.

  • @kungfuhussler39 Much appreciated. Like I mentioned before, I confident I've learned a lot since this accident. It's one of the most challenging cars I've ever driven. We made a radical set up overhaul to help me control the back end a bit more. Now, the rear end breaks loose sooner, but more controllable, more predictable, allowing me to steer into the corner with a lot more confidence, knowing that the back end isn't going to step out from under me too quickly.

    Thanks for the post. :)

  • that sucks :-// how did u get into racing??

  • @1itwillhappen I started as a mechanic and instructor with General Motors. Grew up in NY, started racing on ice when I was 17.....kinda took it a bit seriously, and here I am. :) Contact me/visit my website if you have any more questions.

  • what was that sound at 5:39

  • @swagstars That was another Clio who braked too late on the inside, sliding into me. I tracked out as far as I could but he just kept coming out. No major harm from that though. I only wish that was the worst of it. lol

  • Nice driving, but i think she could brake a bit latter and pratice the shifting.

  • @tbg008 I'll take the compliment. I was pretty new to the car. It was the first front wheel car I had ever driven, and this was only my first or second time at the track. The shifting is pretty physical, which I was not so used to with my limited Formula car seat time......small shifter movement switched to harsh exaggerated pull to get the car to shift. I think it got it a bit more under control now. :)

  • @racechic00 Very good driving then, i didn't know that ! is all about pratice, pratice and pratice !

very nice to see girls given the guys a hard work on the track

  • she is slow on gear change.but good line though.

  • 6:38 to skip to the crash. Not that the rest of the video isn't awesome but for those inpatient peeps like myself.

  • the crash starts at about 6:38

  • Nuce driving really really good

  • Renault Clio Cup

    Very nice !

  • wooow that is a nice sound :P

  • its ok thats not so bad

  • I'm sooo sorry for you..lol Clio racing can be harsh...pure example of you drove soo well the whole race and a totally unavoidable incident had to RUIN it for u...get first next time aye!

  • i love the pops and backfires it makes, that is amazing

  • racechic? wow that is incredibly... beautiful :)

  • Its just sad how many oppretunitied you had to pass them there. Stick two tires on the grass and more agressive driveing. The goal is not really best time but 1st place. Crash was unlucky though but alittle grass driveing could have avoided that to. Overall i rate the driving 3/5 due to some can be improved. You would get allot in the tight bends to stick the two tires on the grass and use more momentum to pass then block each lap.

  • @37474748 So what series do you race in again? I'm just curious. :).

  • Bravo Amanda! Nice driving !Greetings from Greece

  • nice drivng

  • very unlucky....but good driving....

  • ah unlucky.

  • This is the f1 track. My other videos are from the full course (Nordschleife 1-5).

  • There was no where to go, totally unavoidable

  • was that the nurburgring north loop???? i don't think so
