If you talking about F16, you can also name F-4 Phantom. Both are history.

Saab Gripen is new technology not

yesterdays. Some people compare old an new technology , why?

Thanks for the info, I looked up the Gripen. Nice plane but it has some serious shortcomings that are not obvious at an airshow, not the least of which is it's very limited combat radius. That would exclude its use by most air forces in the world.

But it sure is a nice looking plane.

Yeah its combat radius, etc is quite limited but it's built for Sweden and when they built it they had no intentions of selling it to bigger countries that needed an bigger combat radius..

Most of this is solved in Gripen NG (which is being developed).

Anyone know what that first plane in the video was, the one that slowed to 100 knots?? I couldn't make out the commentary. I've never seen that plane before but it made the F18 look sick.

Great footage,, im still getting used to my camera, yours is very steady !! are you on a tripod??,, also guys,, honestly,, CAMP next year !!! you can arrive friday see all the practices then go to the show (walk there) then as your packing up on sunday watch the whole show again from the campsite (which was next to the runway - north side just past those trees behind the runway) Amazing weekend

Typhoon is the best Rafale is just a wrse version of it.

The Rafale is nearly as good as the Typhoon and not a "wrse version of it". It can land on a carrier and has nuclear strike capability, which the Typhoon can do neither!! But other than that it is superior. As is the price tag!!!

Typhoon display was boring , just showing afterburners and high speed , nothing impressive . The best display was for the Rafale !!! Wonderfull !!
