Hmmh, the hollywood voice seems like an overkill.

I'm not a big fan of the obligatory philosophy either. It fit in better when it was along the lines or mixed up with the rest of dialogue like in DE 1. Now it feels overly dramatic in a bad way, at least I don't think it has got enough of though and substance to stand on it's complete own like it tries here.

Still, I've got pretty high hopes for DE3. Creating trailer for both new and old audience isn't an easy task.

company's want to make money and consoles are the biggest industry

problem is console gamers (well most of em ) don't want a compelling story that draws us in all they want is to blow shit up and play with there mates

Deus Ex was a wake-up for me personally;

I was still playing Dissolution of Eternity* on a laptop with some 2$ headphones when I noticed a pcgamer demo cd that I hadn't even taken out of the shrink-wrap.
