China's bullyish nature towards the ownership of the seaways is nothing short of an act of aggression and needs to be supressed. Militarily, USA and it's SW Pacific allies are comfortably superior to the current Chinese regime; however, this won't last forever. Preemptive strikes against China are required, NOW!

Before the Mongolians brought Tibet into China, it was never part of that country.Tibet even signed a peace treaty with the Chinese, with details of the border between these 2 countries. China was HK's biological mother, no doubt. But HK was raised by somebody else. China did not fulfill her responsobilities as a mother. Now HK grew up. The HK ppl have the right to decide which way to go.
Okinawans have constitutional right to seek independence. Do Tibetans or HK ppl have the same?

Taiwan has NOT ALWAYS been part of China. It was ceded to Japan legally, under the treaty of Shimonoseki, by the Qing Chinese gov't. Chinese officials signed that treaty. So it was not an invasion. Japan legally took over Taiwan.

In fact, it was the British who did not fulfill the responsibility of protecting the Hong Kongitans, abandoning them after benefiting from them. Besides, don't forget , it was the "Opium War" which granted Hong Kong to Britain. Did that justify your definition of "illegal occupation"?? China opened up her door in the early 1980's. This was when Hong Kong's economy took off. Similarly, Taiwan was legally returned to China after Japan surrendered unconditionally. There was no invasion involved. It was Japan's economy which has been going downhill. In fact, it started in the early 1990s. By then the Nikkei Index was in the 36,000s. Look at today's Nikkei.

The longest main span cable-stayed bridge in Southeast Asia (Cantho); the longest highway tunnel in Southeast Asia (Danang-Hue); the most advanced underwater tunnel in Southeast Asia (Saigon).

Further Japan had failed to proved that it can be runned as a viable economi moedel as Japan rail has been making very heavy losses all through the history. Vietnam of course asked Japan to cover and that is something that Japan cannot afford.

I heard that the Viets already complained about the quality of ur projects like cracked dams, leaked chemicals. They requested the gov't to chance to Japanese & Western builders. Your single one "high-tech" project (which you haven't started yet, we can't say what will happen, LOL) can't compare with MANY technological projects already finished by Japan. No complaints from the Viets for years!

Japan had its 3 nuclear reactors collapsed in March earth quake / Tsunami causing long term pollution in Japan north eastern regions.
You had also your rail clashes...but one has to say Japan rail is one of the best managed one on earth but the details of service level also keep the cost high that it never is a vaible business model.

It is a fact that the nulcear reactors are unsafe and cannot face the tsunami and earth quakes... the models were primitive and did not provide a second bypass to ensure a save passage of radioactive material to cycle... this is fundamental and should have been taken into consideration. US one do have such set up... so someone steal the money or someone cut the buget and allow such risk to be exposed... don't tell me this is just unfortunate...
