I don't remember anywhere in any bible where Jesus tells us we need to have the right answer about how many days it took God to make the earth as a requirement to get into Heaven. He said we have to let Him into our hearts, and the holy spirit will dwell in our hearts. Why then do we all get caught up in semantics?? Are we all afraid of being wrong and sent to hell? That's not how it works, according to the bible.

When we die and stand before the Almighty, if we are saved by the blood of Jesus, I doubt if he would send that person to hell because they didn't believe the "7 day" theory. I seriously don't think "God" wants us to give this stuff a second thought.

the video is very good and has wonderful shots of hot lava, i enjoyed the ending where it showed the twists of the molten rock like ropes and cables. No big mystery though, interesting that Hawaii is so young geologically. I would love to go to the big island and look around. I have seen the lava flows in norther New Mexico. It is beautiful. Callifornia, Arizona, and New Mexico show so much volcanic activity yet now they are dormant, lucky us!!!..thanks Gianni

I dont see the problem with assuming God created the Earth. Pantheism states that God & Nature are the same thing. So it'd be logical to say God did infact create the Earth.

@jmaccer If it took thousands of years to make Hawaii, how could the earth be made in a day? In God's realm of heaven, there is no night, there are no "days" as it were. I believe there were seven "events". Besides that I thought the point of the bible was about Jesus dying for the sins of Mankind? What's the difference if it took 7 days, 7 weeks, 7 years, 7 million years. I think being caught up in this is just missing the point entirely. But hey, that's me.
