This also works with Blizzard [duh] and death and decay which makes a really cool effect. Also for GM's the spell Rain of Chaos is effected by this too.

Why would Blizzard remove this function? it was wonderful for players with low end computers, and also for those with high end ones as well. Why should video slow down and effect notice -ability be factors in any way to an encounter?

Then again it IS Blizzard and they definitely have a penchant for inflating the game with artificial difficulty.

This will help, I lag when Ony starts to fly and the whelps come out, and everybody AoEs them all. I used to turn my charater around so I can't see them, but then I don't do damage for a little bit.

Yes. Since the game is now in the Public folder, GM's can see what modifications you do to the game. Any mod, even one for your own use that no one sees, is illegal under the game rules and will get you banned permanently as soon as the GM's warden system picks up on it. No appeals on those bans either. It's right in the TOS and EULA. You're not allowed to change ANY of the files. EVER.

Don't worry, you won't get banned for going this. It does not involve changing any files, does not modify the game in any way, it just changes a setting using the Blizzard provided tools for changing settings. That's what the /console command is for. This is not against the TOS or the EULA any more than going into the settings than moving sliders is. Anywho who says otherwise is just being stupid.
