You can listen to this with the album version. All you have to do is listen to it through headphones on a computer or an ipod or something similar. You just pull the ipod headphones out a little bit so they are sticking out slightly. Its a bit tricky, but try it and see what you get.

I've seen one version on youtube where he does a solo that sounds very similar to the one on the record. It's just nothing like any other of his bass solos. It's the switch from the 5th and 7th frets all the way up to the 12th and 14th that's difficult, but also so exclusive.
