c"mon man it does not get any cooler than larry and derek with levon and gregg playing all at once.Between all these cats the stories that could be told and all the musical history and the psychedelics that they ave taken.I still say the greatest musical festival was the allman bros. and the band with the omnipotent grateful dead up at watkins glen speedway hands down. The hell with woodstock and monterey pop.

Who's that big ole SOB with the hat? I thought it was Freddie Kruger on steroids. The Allman Brothers are without a doubt my favorite band to see live! I just watched The Last Waltz last night "The Bands farewell concert" great flick, tons of great musicians! Thanks for posting this video!

@classicshead69: SOB? Shit, that's Taj Mahal. His band's version of Statesboro Blues inspired Duane Alllman to teach himself how to play slide guitar (he was already an accomplished lead man) and the rest, as they say, is history.
