  • all i can do with mypaint is drawing a rainbow,,,

    a very ugly rainbow ,, -_-"

    u'r amazing!!

  • god paint

  • Amazing.

  • nice

  • I wish they would develope a portable digital painting device with really good sensitivity that is made specifically for digital artists, something you could just stick software on and treat like you would treat a real sketchbook.

  • Stop biting your fingers! They look terrible!

  • wow

  • I hope this comes back to the N9 (I'm assuming you can get any GTK/Qt application on it, since it still uses X11 and all that).

  • @scionicspectre Hope so, I am still waiting mobile device that can beat N900 and its pressure sensitivity / MyPaint.

  • @scionicspectre

As Luuvatone pointed out, the resistive screen on the n900 enables pressure sensitive drawings. Its possible to port it to the n9, but the experience would not be the same...

  • that 1 dislike came from an Apple user that cant even draw a strawberry.. =D

  • amazin sketcher like me

  • I must say this is way cool. I like looking at art, but I like looking at an artist at work more.

  • iPhone 4 doen't work with a stylus.

    Awesome drawing!

  • U sir are an artist :)

  • amazing

  • looks impossible!

  • your amazing

  • >;^) I hate you. >;^)

Awesome demo, very very very cool. Thanks!

  • i can't even sketch a strawberry :(

  • Awesome!! Is that a capitative screen (touch) or is it pressure sensitive?? On the phone that is.

  • @danielshervheim MyPaint for N900 uses real pressure sensitivity. (resistive touchscreen)

  • @Luovatone is it good quality or does it feel plasticky and unresponsive?

  • @danielshervheim I am using ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD screen protection and I am used to that. It is a bit sticky. Plain N900 screen is plastic and feels like plastic :). Resistive screens are not as responsive as capacitive touch screens but this almost reaches that, so it is good quality. Pressure sensitivity works well with MyPaint.

  • @TeemuKosonen Totta kai :) Tiedosto muotoina on: .ora, png (solid, transparent ja multiple png transparent), jpg, jpeg. MyPaintin voit myös käydä lataamassa ilmaiseksi desktop koneeseen osoitteesta: mypaint(dot)intilinux(dot)com

  • thats pretty amazing. Do you know if they have that app out for android?

  • @LadyFinesse08 What I know MyPaint (by Martin Renold) is only for PC, Mac, Linux and Maemo currently.

  • You are a sick human being !!!

  • @nutzw1 Yes, I know :D

  • Это из серии: не важно какой инструмент ты держишь, если ты действительно художник.

  • Where can I download those drawing skills?

  • wooootwoooot!!! awesomeness!! ^_^

  • wow !! bellissimo !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • OMG! you are amazing! keep it up bro !

  • amazing...keep it up

  • omg !! I get this phone tomorrow and the fuckin first thing i will do is downloading this paint thing here..hope it works! thanks!

  • I watched this open-mouthed, you have such talent! Wow!

  • Amazing, just wow to you as an artist and to the capabilities of the n900 (that i'm getting in a day woop).

  • I have this nice application on my n810, wow! ur great at this, they look real too, excellent job.

  • Btw, please Do you know of any other mobile which has a detection pressure.Btw some cheaper mobile :D

    PS : sorry 4 my english :D

  • Btw, please Do you know of any other mobile which has a detection pressure.

    PS : sorry 4 my english :D

  • just wow there no words to say to u how good and great ur kp it up pro

  • WOW AMazing, please i've got question... This mobile Got pressure detection?

  • @Ubuchy Heips! Yes, there is working "real" pressure sensitivity (works like a mini Wacom Cintiq) with MyPaint and Nokia N900(uses resistive touch screen).

I have now tested Apple iPhone4 and SketchBook and I must say that it is .... hmm... I really wonder why the hell people so much try to like those things.. I really prefer real pen, when I want to draw.

..and Nokia N900 is not so bad as a phone either.

  • @Luovatone Thank you. Now just save Money :D

  • how to download it?my n900 come in a few day..so exciting...

  • 1 fanboy

  • wow, that is some amazing work there :D

  • Loooved ittt..i didn't think this app could be so useful .. wt u did ,was amazing

  • OMG... it looks so real..

  • pretty sweet

  • Could you please post video tutorials with voice to learn painting on N900...I love your videos and like to learn from you. I have a N900 device and I like it very much...

  • Ho my god, how did you do that ? You're so talentuous guy !

And the app is impressive ( as the N900 x) )

  • Holy freak man! That's beautiful! by the way, aren't you in some way scared of scratching it? O.O

  • Hey, lone guy. You need either a bigger computer screen or a better mouse coz you missed the thumb up button.

  • dude you are soo good at painting!

  • I have three questions:

    1. What pen do you use?

    2. Why don´t you use the pen you get with the n900?

    3. Does the app cost anything, if so - how much?

    :)

  • @alybalyLOL

    1. Pilot Super Grip 0.5 Mechanical Pencil + Wacom Plastic Nib

There is also some other Pilot pen variants what I am using.

    2. It is stylus stick, what comes with N900 :)

And I do not like to work with this not so ergonomic thing.. I like to work with

real pen when I am drawing.

    3. MyPaint costs nothing.. it is free open-source graphics application for digital painters.

MyPaint is just perfect for N900 because of all functions can be mapped to the physical keyboard.

  • @Luovatone

where can i but the pen ( I live in sweden), online?

Love your videos, youre awesome :D

  • Cool! now I hate my 5800 :P

  • I wanted to say that's a work of art, but that phrase wouldn't do you justice. That was amazing. I'm guessing you are a very real painter, one with works of art that sell for lots of money. Also your very talented. Awesome use of the Nokia N900 by the way. I'm glad to know my phone can do this if I take the time. Thanks again for the demonstration.

  • i thought it was fake, but now i think its not, congratulations!

  • muito Bom! Genial mesmo, o cara é um Artista *-*\,,/

  • It's shocking how realistic you can paint now, with just a mobile phone isn't it. Fantastic video and drawing. I've also got the n900 and I installed mypaint :)
