House of Flying Daggers is an all time favorite of mine.

Not so much on the fighting scenes, but the love interests are really cute,

and the beauty of the movie is strong. <3

@tjeanske ook ik heb erg grote bewondering voor het hoofdpersonage Zhang Ziyi...maar je zegt dat het gaat tekenen..ongetwijfeld ken je bv de Japanse ukiyo e waarvan het onderdeel bijinga de vrouw als hoofdpersonage uitbeeldt in schitterende kleding..veel succes met het tekenen...groetjes

First people should look stuff up before or watch the movie with commentary ziyi Zhang took dance she did the stunts the flying yes a fake her leg up in the air no the bean and the sleeve are fake as too is the bowl not like it matters its a great movie my favorite one I watched with commentary for some one said that ziyi Zhang didn't do the echo game dance and the truth is she did some flips and flying have to be fake as people say but in all honesty they are being done with help

@argyb11 If you don't like the plot, that's one thing but... defying gravity and physics? They seem firmly rooted to the ground to me. So because someone can jump higher than you can, move faster than you can, be more graceful than you are, makes it stupid and stereotypical? People are doing these amazing feats everyday. It can be done with practice and training and even a little luck. The ones who label things as impossibilities are merely those too scared to try.

@SurumiKotori The beans are not real, no one can do that. It's pure cgi. Almost all the stunts done in these type of movies are fake, but people don't seem to understand that there is nothing wrong with this. Why let something like that bother you? A lot of movies are meant to spark the imagination, so why get upset over a visual that's mean't to do just that? I love when movies have outrageous stunts.

@iLoveTurtlesHaha I'm not saying that this movie is a reality. Obviously, most movies exaggerate the body's capabilities. I just felt that a movie being called a "stupid stereotype" just because of the stunts, cgi, etc. is not fair to the film. And while exaggerated, a good many people in our currant time and age can pull off these stunts to an extent, so I disagree with the "defying laws of gravity and physics" point. The beans are one thing, that, I agree with you, but the stunts are doable.

It's just more beautiful when they slow things down and make fake stunts. tahts just the type of movie. if it was shot in real-live it woul'dnt be as good. People won't see it cuz the whole fantasy/lovely/emotional feeling is gone.
