koreans are bastards. not only should their products be boycotted but the seafarers should refuse to sail to korea. an absolute disgrace to human rights.
The Captain and Mate have not only been locked up by a biased court, they are having to undertake forced labour and are kept in appalling conditions. Despite one of their religious beliefs they are forced to eat non-vegetarian and the Captain is not allowed to wear his turban. I ask that ALL Indians seriously consider boycotting ALL Korean goods and make their voice heard to show solidarity to two of their fellow countrymen who have been made scapegoats by a "Kangaroo" Korean Court!
It's difficult to know what it is they are presumedly guilty of. Being there in Korea at anchorage, I guess. Makes the Korean court system look a joke in any case.
It's like getting your car to hit against a parked car and the guy who parked the car is blamed for the whole situation as it were there. Where is the logic in this situation? I hope that people everywhere can put pressure on the Korean Authorities to release the Captain and Chief Officer and finally bring charges against Samsung for creating such an environmental disaster.
The unfortunate thing that seems to be overlooked by whomsoever it was that was the judge or judges on the day of this decision is that however much face was saved by not finding fault with the tug boaters or the barge owners is that it makes the judiciary themselves lose face in the eyes of the rest of the world. ... Wow, I hope they were compenstated financially well enough to deal with that.
It is really unfortunate the way seafarers are treated across the globe. A ship at anchor needs at least half an hour to move an inch. The barge hit the ship at anchor at the position given by the Korean authority. How can you prove Captain and CO guilty. This is really disgusting. The incident was unfortunate but Indian officers are innocent. Shame on Korean Govt.....

People in India should know what Koreans are doing to innocent Indian captain and crews. Boycott all Korean products!
lolahochaukalol 3 years ago 12
They have also given crazy unfair decisions to copyright infringement lawsuits filed by Japan against South Korean companies over and over.
Koreans seem to have not ability for running of the country yet. We should put them under a trusteeship of UN.

Umm this ship is Chinese, registered in Hong Kong. Hebei is in reference to Hebei Province of China.
Anyhow, I don't want to turn this into a racist issue. I'll just say that the captain and co-captain should be released.

I've read a report at The International Ship Managers' Association's site.
They reported...
The captian and co-captain were forced to eat beef something which is prohibited in their religion.
I think the system of the Korean court and its prizon is quite different to that of ours.
I support for ITF's act.

The South Korean will say.
"Japan is responsible in this matter. "
"Take the consequences."
"Manage to do."
You will think "What do you say?"
However, the South Korean is as such.

OINK decision.
Korean pinned the responsibility on Indian mariners.
But, this is very Korea.

これは韓国側が悪いですね。韓国側の責任なのにインド側の人物に対して拷問を行なったそうですね。全世界がこの判決に怒っています。
韓国は謝罪と賠償をするべき
South Korea should do the apology and compensation.

South Korea and North Korea are the worst country in the world.
Indian captain and other crew were NOT wrong at all.
But South Korea put them in the prison.

Samsung Group occupies about 20% of the GDP of South Korea.
Therefore, South Korea government will not want to let Samsung pay a large indemnity.
Maybe, this problem is a matter of life and death in the South Korea government.
Because Samsung ran a operating loss of about 242 billion Won for a fourth-quarter.
