Sadly 09 Forester XLimited offer less standard features than peers like RAV, Outlnder, Grand Vitara or CX-7, too strip down if u will, its just ok. but for 28K price tag for base XLimited look elsewhere the rest of the pack is under 24K range. Cannot justify to pay more for less in this economy driven market

Dats wat I expcted. I test driven most 2009 Jap small SUV's in freeways, city & realistic offroad (not the for show type offroad) coz I'm buying another one. I already have 06 CRV. I wud pick RAV4, Outlander, CX-7, Forester, Grand Vitara in that order. My test drv RAV & Outlander dominates contrary to claims of Motor Trends SUV of the year for forester, they pick CX-9 last year a generic mazda.. U must drive them, to prove, ur test will tell u real reasult not motor trend magazine.
