Dang, repression and guilt can create the strangest aberrations in otherwise normal humans.

I used to have a friend, a good Christian fellow who lived with his mother and hated his life. He was absolutely smitten by Jessica Rabbit. He was too pure to watch porno.I've seen suspicious stains on the Jessica Rabbit pictures. But, that's alright because Jessica isn't real so it isn't a sin.

And yes, he had strong opinions about and against people that he thought weren't "normal".

@MacNutz2 I was never more critical of others than when I was trying to be a good christian. It was strange to me because I had been a very non-judgmental person before that. I assume it was an attempt to feel less guilty about not being able to live up to "gods" standards.

I'm a good person because I suffer guilt for my sins and try to cover them by hating you and your sins. That shows what a good person I really am.

Quite an interesting sort of paraphelia. Though I'm rather glad I don't have it. XP I think it would suck to be attracted to (a being?) where there can be no mental discourse.

I can't really picture it actually, since mental attraction is so damned important to me.

Chickens would be one of the worst attrations; they're mean! I think genitals would get damaged.

It really depends on how it plays out, it's disturbing If there is a chance the animal gets hurt.

But, how do I put this? Bluntly: Animals have sex, & seek out sex, not all animals 'care' if sex is with their own species. Consider too how most animals behave during sex. & Us? We are way more delicate and tender than most.

The human is often at more risk, as other animals have no taboos against biting and scratching when mad.

I don't know which dictionary you are referencing, but most I have seen just say 'abnormal sexual behaviours'. It would be best to read the wiki article when it comes to this.

The term can be used as a pajorative, that's not how I mean it.

That definition is also incorrect, 'harm' and 'humiliation' are NOT requirements for a paraphelia. (sexual attraction to objects ex:costumes, or shoes= a paraphelia)

Paraphelias, are a topic where the 'definition' changes more slowly than our understanding of them. Study of the mind is often a few years ahead of 'public-print'.

Lots of paraphelias are personal, only involving mastrabatory tendencies. (leaving no room for it to humliate others)

Paraphelia is an umbrella term. Covering anything not "the norm".

The wiki mentions that there may be an upwards of 549 paraphilias *known*.
