The reason it seems like thats is because the closer the person is, the more damage the skorpion does. In this vdeo he only dosn't look down the sights at very close range and kills them quickly. You would in fact find that if he tried to hipfire someone 20 metres away with a skorpion (or any other SMG for that matter) without steady aim he would get raped. Steady aim is in fact useles of the skorpion though, because it has beautiful Iron Sights at all ranges and they work well at 5+ metres.

No, stopping power makes it take one less bullet to kill than without, it isn't useless with the Skorpion, but you can argue that sleight of hand is superior.

Skorpion with an ACOG received an increase in damage at greater ranges rather than the decrease that it would suffer from. Though I believe it's changed on the console versions, I've heard it still has it on the PC.

IIRC, each gun has a certain damage range, depending on how far the shot goes it will either stay at the highest damage possible or the lowest.

HC is for gays, a lot of noobtubes, camping, and moded controllers. Regular TD is better, because ppl trying to kill each other as soon as possible, more kills = more action. Most of the time the score does not even reach 750 pts. Conclusion HC sucks. At leat that is my opinon.
