  • How the hell is this banned?

  • fell 4k feet and lived... like a boss.

  • If he landed on water, he wiuld have drowned...he has to much equppment and plus, he'd get tangled in the rops and inder the parachute.

  • It may be a stupid question but shouldn't he get better if he landed to water? Why didnt he tried to move towards the sea?

  • And what dumb ass idiot liberal moron decided to flag this video, in order to "protect" us from ourselves? Whoever you are, you are stupid and I hope you read this. This video is not graphic, which is what the "Tagging" is suppose to be.

  • How could you possibly survive that fall? I don't get it. Also, how is this dude not screaming. That's like the calmest moment ever.

  • @19189073 lol!

  • fucking craazy

  • Aim for the water bellend.

  • @zzzgdap

hitting water from that hight and speed would be like hitting concrete

  • props dude...I just went sky diving or my first time today. That would me mind racking.

  • i think if i was going to die I wouldn't just be like 'cyA'

  • commando pro?!

  • ATTN SKYDIVERS: BEWARE OF GRAVITY.

  • Wow, i guess it wasnt his time to die yet :/

  • i love this parachute crash

    wonderful crash !

  • omd my heart was pumping when he said bye

  • one lucky bloke.mad sob.

  • @Yam3awaaD what?

  • @Yam3awaaD - What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • In first aid you must assertain the condition of the person try not to move them so speak first he was being responsible and smart

  • 1:49

    "are you ok?"

    "NO!!!!"

    hahahahaha

  • WOW Amazing! Glad he is ALIVE.

  • Yeh dude 120 is terminal velocity, couldnt happen while his parachute was open, still hugely rough landing though. Also faces of death was a 70's movie, but did not show real people dying, it was just mean to seem that way, a sort of fake snuff film. though some scenes depicting some animal cruelty was real.

  • @chinio18 mate he did the right thing he was trying to see if he was conscious, where hes injured, seeing how lucid he is etc. Exactly what the paramedics would have done.

I cant stand arm chair critics.

  • What would you do?

  • @chinio18 You should fuck yourself asshole. Jump out of a plane and watch your best friend almost die then tell us that you fucking peice of shit...

  • @chinio18 PS: Prick, dick face.

  • Ебааать!

  • face of death is a movie from the 70s and is banded from many movie stores. it is about real people die ing and ya ther was one like this in the movie exapt ther was algators lol

  • That's the real adventure... you know your life's value.

  • @faiz2k6 lol

  • I think we all understood that he was checking whether he was conscious or not... oh wait.. i think you didn't.

He was taking care of his buddy, and was doing his best. kudos to him.

  • @faiz2k6 stupid kid, your clueless

  • yeah he's damn lucky but wats wit the title "face of death'?

  • lol i did this yesterday and did it again for fun

    -jk lol-

  • Do it again!!!!

  • why the fuck the parachute dont opened

  • @TitusVI It did open he just had a spinning malfunction and his cutaway system failed. Since he was unable to cutaway his main, his reserve became intangled in it.

  • each person usually pack their own chutes but sometimes they dony pack them properly resulting in incidends like this but worse, hes friggen lucky!

  • this guy is lucky as hell

  • is he paralyzed?

  • @internetvidz

    hahaha really bro?

  • he was falling at around 120 mph, these news people are stupid.

  • @lowpullproductions he was doing a hop n pop and might not have reached terminal.

  • no thier not thats the speed of people fallling with no lift he says his para had soem lift so he was fallnig half the speed if he went 120 mph the bush wuold not save him

  • @OoOComputerGeekOoO they were mentioning the speed before he deployed but it sounds like he was doing a hop n pop so he never reached terminal

  • omg i almost cryed watching. God!.. ?

  • if it was fast running water you might be able to survive because that reduces the impact.

  • wow that guy was lucky---glad he made it!

  • thanks my friends. ITs something that i´ve been thinking about. u know just in case !!! jajaja

  • what do u prefer land in the ground or in the water ??? what a re the probabilities of survive if u chose one of them ??

  • water your parachute can snag and drownd you, also the gear is really heavy and at 70mph youd probably hit the bottom

  • @iutav you cant choose where to land with a malfunction that bad.

  • @goingtoeatpizza- yeah, thats true. Although if that was me, i would've hoped that i landed in the bushes than the water. cause hitting the water at 70mph straight down is like hitting concrete.

  • lol he waved at the camera... that was hardcore

  • 666,*** views

  • Comment removed

  • what did he broke.. brave dude..he waved the camera

  • Man, I always wanted to go skydiving.

  • . i might try it some day but if this happens i would prefer to land in the sea !

  • hitting water at that speed is worse than hitting bushes fool.

  • ........................................ fine.

  • @ redgaridose - he would've died if he dropped into the water! water is as hard as concrete if you slam onto it at high speeds... better you know that

  • ok ok got the message.

  • @purpleGoAhead so is dirt

  • well if you hit the water too hard it acts as a brick wall..this usually happens at 70 MPH

  • ok thanks for telling me

  • you're welcome :)

  • Id love to parachute, nowere cheep in the uk tho :(

  • Like u were my mouth, i couldn't agree more

  • Don't jump off with just a parachute

Try basejumping off a cliff with a wingsuit : ))

check out the wingsuit videos, theire amazing

  • maybe some people like me love coming and knocking on mr. deaths door and running away. that means being that close to death is a freedom.

  • You are a very ignorant individual. There are 100 000 skydivers and if you asked anyone one of us we'd all have the exact same answer for you. "Skydiving is a celebration of life" out of millions of jumps done per year there are an avg. of 30 deaths. Statistically that is nothing! You have more chance dying in a car accd. You watch a video of an accident and comment stupidly about something you clearly know nothing about. Knowledge dispels fear. Have fun in your safe bubble of a life.

  • @cantleysugar Perhaps you have a life where you've become bored with the normal "kicks" of life? Seems like the way to live to me.

  • You are an idiot. It isn't a "modified bedsheet." If it wasn't safe, it would be outlawed. It's people like you who make this world a terrible place.

  • I get a kick out of these YouTube Jumpmasters, professional pilots and MMA champions.Everybody quoting their favorite terms absorbed from Top Gun and Point Break.Oh,did I mention I'm editor in Chief for Boston Globe? So I really know what Im talking about.

  • dude i feeled sorry for that dude who fell down

  • Wow- I'm glad he didn't die.

  • i never jumped but it looks like paragliding is much more dangerous than sky diving? !

  • The spinning around and around would have done me in way before I hit the ground

  • that is one lucky dude

  • Lol,

You would be suprised at what falls people can survive. World record of freefall and landing alive... In bad shape but alive is like 36,000 feet.

  • @MUDSWAT You hit terminal velocity after falling 1000 feet. Fall from outer space or 1000 feet and you will hit the ground with the same speed/force.

Most of these so called freefall survival stories are incorrect though. The majority of the time they will have a malfunctioning parachute or something else creating drag to slow them down, thats not freefall.

  • no mames!! sorprendente la vdd!!

  • Anyone seen this amazing story of a skydiver?

    /watch?v=u3BTtii4fIY

  • It is not so much the fall that is dangerous as the sudden stop at the end. This guy is really lucky.. Wonder if he is still jumping.

  • 70 mph? These TV guys need to do some research before reporting or commentating on stuff

  • with his chute half open its giving alot of drag slowing him down a bit

  • You think I don't know that? They said 70 before his what you call "chute" malfunctioned. It's not a chute, its a canopy and average free fall speed is 120

  • 70 mph seems about right since he wasnt at terminal velocity because of the drag created by his 1/2 open chute.

  • you missed the point.. our know it all commentator said 70 before there was a problem

  • @Kopihucky It sounds like he was doing a hop n pop and did not reach terminal. He said "free fall at 5000ft" and "deployed at 4000ft"

  • Okay, do u guys know why he survived?

He faced death with no fear..

This is a rare miracle :)

  • that's a miracle!

  • and thats why i will never sky dive....:)

  • luck

  • That was pretty shocking...the wave made me cringe a little...how would u feel coming face to face with death like that? A lot of people in his situation would panic but he faced reality. Bless this dude

  • oh god...saying goodbye to the camera... :[

  • i love wut that guy says, "u ok?" its like yeah no im fine

  • he asked "breathin"? and then he was alive...maybe the guy above couldnt see how hard he hit the ground, and then he coulda been ok.

  • I've always thought about skydiving...I think I'll pass.

  • ya same here!

  • have a nice life

  • That's not funny, my brother died that way.

  • AHHH look at his hand at the end, its all twisted up

  • I did this on wednesday!! i want to try it on my own!!!

  • wooooooow thats lucky amagine the adrenaline rush from that actually waving good buy i can't imagine it

  • holy shit

  • is this the taupo skydiving club?

i did a skydive here a couple of years ago

  • glad he lived

  • @bobski2601 sarcasm?

  • migslayer101 defo glad he lived my friend.

  • that's why i would never sky dive

  • then you should never leave the safety of your home either

  • the odds of this happening are super rare like neomuttley said. And it said his reserve got caught in the main when the main got caught on his harness. Don't let rare videos like this keep you from trying it, it truly is safer than going for a drive.

    blue skies

  • there is an easy way to prevent this: don't skydive

  • whats the purpose of skydiving lol why not use google earth....and zoom in with a fan blowing at your face shit...

  • lol.. wait, thats not funny you troll.

  • you dont get out much do ya

  • i love this comment.

  • grow a pair

  • go to hell, nice rhyme

  • Anybody know how bad he was hurt?

    That must have been awful.

  • broken ankel and pelvis if i remember right. sucks, but hes still skydiving.

  • you lucky

hope you are not a cripple now....

  • face of death??????

  • thank god you are alive :)

  • He was very lucky ...... hopefully i can go skydiving soon as.. looks incredible

  • The odds of both chutes failing are extremely remote. In America, over two million people went skydiving last year. How many fatalities? 84. The overwhelming majority of those were BASE jumpers. Low altitude cliffs, towers, buildings, etc w/uncertain winds, is very different from traditional skydiving. It's far more dangerous to go for a drive. Check the stats...

  • Only the first chute failed, but it fucked up his second chute dont get how that happend the cut away shouldve worked.

  • That was terrifying. I'll never willing go parachuting after watching this!

  • Go and rap yourself in cotton wool and never face fear again

  • Has anyone seen this?

    /watch?v=u3BTtii4fIY

  • incredible, this guy has the biggest ass in the world!!!!

  • lol damn it said face of death i thought it was almost like a movie from faces of death, that shit is fucking awesome shows u all types of deaths and how they died, and the real footage lmfao!! check it out its illegal so u cant buy it

  • hw do u get it? faces of death

  • ive seen that

  • your a fucking douchebag i wish somebody smashes your face in with a sledgehammer you fucking peice of shit

  • if he had been to hit the water with his feet facing down in a torpedo style at 70 mph, he would even have enjoyed it I think. of course I'm not talking about hitting water with stomach.... you just have to invent yourself!

  • Too much risk to land on your stomach or back and break back/burst tummy. Besides, he was tangled in the parachute and would most likely have drowned.

  • That is the most ignorant comment i've ever heard in my life. do u have the slightest idea of what goes on when u're in a situation like that?

  • Bushes and trees are ur friends..

  • say what....

  • Jesus this guy was calm... even when staring into the face of death hes like "Yeah... fuck it, I had a good life"

  • Lol that's a good way to look at it.

  • i've had a near death experience i fell of my bmx on a road and a jeep was about 5-6 centimeters away from crushing my head at 60 mph, yes he was speeding i feel sorry for the guy he's very lucky.

  • he waved good bye..speechless

  • I was an Army paratrooper, and also skydive recreationally. Believe me, those Army chutes are TINY compared to regular ones, and if you don't land properly, you WILL shatter your leg or worse. This is a freak accident, as civilian skydiving is much safer. Must have been a hell of an adrenaline rush though!!

  • So there was nothing wrong with the plane... yet he still jumped out.

  • Lucky to be alive!

  • Ah man! That is so hectic! I can just imagine the fear... I am glad he was ok... What were his injuries? Does anyone know? As a fellow sky-diver, I really feel for this guy.

  • how long ago was this

  • 1:28 what is that?? looks like some kind of organ lol

  • @1moe7 looks more like your mom to me fucktard

that is so bad. just imagine being seconds before the impact, u know its really gonna hurt at least for a moment since your legs get crushed, and u cant do anything about it. i would freak out.

  • all i said was what is that? you don't have to insult my mom, asshole.

  • +1 pal... Bengalisch should go skydiving... without a chute

  • Thanks. He's an asshole. Do you know what it is anyway?

  • it's the bushes... but it took a second for the camera to focus, I thought it was an organ at first, too.

  • Ok thanks

  • sorry i know this isnt funny but for some reason when i saw him laying and moaning it made me laugh..

  • why share that with us?

  • Fuck!!

  • OMG "goodbye to the camera".

  • crazy. cant believe he lived. his momentum should have crushed him

  • Talk to me bro, are you ok? NO

  • final destanation

  • naw

  • british parachute, b-grade

  • pretty cool he hung on to the cutaway handle the whole time LOL. lucky as hell to be alive, wonder why he didnt hook knife the main or something sooner.

  • good to see survival for a change. i jumped h.a.l.o. in the seventies, 26,000, lost a good friend, kneck broke on ocean inpact!!! i avent plunged since, and never will.gravity sucks!!!

  • i went skydiving in nz but i was with an instructer lol its really fun, should have a go

  • my turn!
