  • And boom goes the dynamite.

  • he was reading a teleprompter

  • Don Knotts, truly one of a kind.

  • Classic comedian.

  • The Andy Griffith show was nothing once Barney was gone. They should have bought up his contract to continue on the show because I cannot think of another show that fell off so much as did Andy Griffith after Don Knotts was no longer part of it. That says it all!!

  • @ken38urb True, brother true... it would have been worth everything... spot on with your observation....

  • this guy totaly has Lyme Disease

  • probably the most loved guy in the history of television.

  • i think the guy from two and a half men should play barney fife and do a re make of the show , he would be perfect for the part , i think his name is jon cryer

  • Doom goes the bynamite.

  • Lol! Love it!

  • Don Knotts is my hero!!!!

  • Don Knotts is my hero!!!!

  • Don Knotts was one of the greats, always loved the guy.

  • What a hoot. He was my favorite. It wasn't the Andy Griffith show without him.

  • It is sort of amazing that he can make those mistakes on purpose. Great clip.

  • Comedy genius.

  • Thanks for posting this; I loved Don Knotts! I think I'll have to watch one of his movies today. :)

  • My dad loved Don in Three's Company as the old landlord.

  • @zsifk

You're dad liked jacking off to Teri, dipshit!

  • Love the squinting and head shaking and showing the pain of messing up - Brilliant.

  • This is funny!...We've got Don's autograph from when he was on 3's company.

  • Don Knotts at his funniest. Laughed till tears were runing from my eyes!

  • why are there so many ostriches?

  • I believe this is from "THE STEVE ALLEN SHOW", when Don was a supporting cast member. His specialty was "nervous wretches"- in this monologue, he's a baseball announcer who can't two words straight without twisting them ("spoonerisms", as Roy Atwell was famous for doing on radio and in motion pictures, including one of the dwarfs' voices in Disney's "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs").

  • @fromthesidelines - On the same show he did a recurring character for the "Man In The Street" interview sketch. DK would play a Mr. Morrison, who would always be nervous (Steve would ask him if he were nervous, and he would answer with a very jittery "No!" I'd love to see a clip of Don Knotts doing that sketch.

  • Very funny man.

  • hey! is this from a movie or something?

  • This is just great! I'm his biggest fan and I just love this!

  • Never get enough don knotts.

  • i love this where did you get it so i can get a copy.
