Yes but COPO cars could have a 120 MPH speedo. My L72 COPO 9561 has a 120 MPH speedo. But all Yenko's were "double COPOs" with not only 9561 option but were also ordered with COPO 9737 option consising of the 140 MPH speedo, 15x7 Rallys with E70x15 inch Goodyear Wide Tread GT tires,and a 13/16 inch front sway bar... if your car doesn't have this then it is not a YENKO.... but it could be a L72 COPO .
I know you know this Escheque5 but want to make sure anyone else looking at this gets it. Also no 1969 Camaro with a solid lifter motor had A/C . And on the 69 Z/28 no A/C and NO Automatic trans
@VZ935 - Agreed and ditto! The fraud that is going on with old muscle cars is very prevalent. Many people are, "building", these cars and trying to pass them off as genuine originals, which is violating federal law, (meaning the FBI goes after them), is fraud and a felony punishable with prison time. I guess some people are willing to trade years in prison for some money. Pretty stupid if you ask me.
Never seen a YENKO or any 1969 model year solid lifter Camaro with airconditioning. This car has an A/C dash with two vents at the top.... that be a no no
@Kstang09 - Yenko Camaro's had only a precious few options. 1. Vinyl top. 2. Power steering. 3. Automatic transmission. That's it. They were stripped down drag cars. Yenko Camaro's never came with consoles and rosewood steering wheels as this fake car has.
