@logaboya It used to be believed that the Roman painter Salvator Rosa composed this and other songs because he owned a handwritten book of various songs that was sold after his death to a traveler, but that was disproved in 1949. He's right, "Star Vicino"'s author is still unknown.
favorite male song choice in the world :D my friend just sang this a few weeks ago for solo and ensemble contest.... very tough rythyms and notes [: great job
@Whitefire26 My voice teacher says that, when singing in Italian, the t's are pronounced more so as a d sound, with the tongue pressed against the top of the mouth in an odd way. It's actually pretty hard. (Not too be rude, sorry if I offended in any way)
You get the stopped t's in "diletto"? Really hard to do that, especially when you're learning to sing perfectly in rhythm, cause the stopped t's normally break the rhythm. Gotta make the stopped t's more obvious. If you do, it'll touch people way more. If I hadn't sang this song before, I would have guessed you were singing Spanish.
im singing this song as one of my songs for Music Jury at university.

Good, but I think if you expanded your range to hit that falsetto note you'd do better. At least I think it's falsetto.
