@MAXXvzammy You do realize all flashback does is let you cast from the graveyard right? You're not countering the ability, you're countering the casting of a spell, by countering a card. Furthermore the card that was countered would be removed from the game due to flashback's text

@DinkyInkyCloudyKinky i kno ur casting it from the graveyard but ur paying its alternate cost not mana cost flash your using flashback wich is an ability, and mana leak cant counter an ability and flashback doesnt go to the stack from what ive heard

@MAXXvzammy It's not an ability, it's a different way of casting it. It's like if you pay two life instead of tapping a land for those weird mana symbols, you're still casting the spell and it can be countered.

@MAXXvzammy flashback is just playing a spell from the graveyard...it has no other stipulations.

Therefore, any form of counterspell will work to counter a flashbck spell assuming that the spell doesn't have a built in "can't be countered" effect.

All spells use the stack, and as long as there is a spell on the stack, it can be countered.
