Very cool stuff! I can't believe how good your timing is, especially on the long breaks. There's definitely music going on up in your head while you're playing this! I was sitting here trying to run a bass line for that on my Casio keyboard, and was doing pretty good till you got to 4:58 and went into that quicktime part, and then I was lost, LOL! Great improv Alicia! :))

I can tell u learned from reading books of guitar...When u learn without education i say u can express ur self more....Ive been playing since i was 14 and from Texas..SRV Country..lol!! Try more of your own stuff and play from the heart..:):)

@wingmarc I haven't learned from books. Mostly everything I've learned, rhythms, patterns, etc. is all for listening and improvising. I play by ear a lot. This whole thing is my own stuff except for the head, which I mentioned in the description is from Cryin' Shame by Buddy Guy and Junior Wells.

Pay no attention to the naysayers like wingmarc. SRV wannabe clones are an abundant nuisance here in Texas. 9.5 out of ten of 'em are truly hacks. Love the genuineness of your playing, girl. Stay the course. Get your guitar tech to put some 5oo k ohm pots in your tele tone circuit with an .033 cap.

@wingmarc Yeah? I see all the greatly talented vids you've got up on youtube. I bet ya have a three tone Indonesian Squire strat, a TS 808 reissue stomp box, and a vibroverb, ('cept in your case it's likely a Line Six spider/SUX) and can't do crap with it. Stop trying to be Stevie, and play something you feel. There's enough SRV clones in Texas. We don't need even ONE more. Maybe y'all don't realize it but you really can't play like SRV.... Accept in your dreams.
