@KALFYCH Yeah, I'm playing it now. But for some reason, my memory card won't save my game, and so if I die, I have to start at the beginning of the level. I was almost out of these freakin caves, and then along comes a bear, and it backs me up into a corner, where I then proceed to get stuck in a glitch, and the bear mauls me to death. And now, I'm back at the beginning.

@WweMariaa When I first played this game and before you ride the hook swing to get across the deep abyss, I use to be afraid to go down there because all of sudden, a T-Rex pops out from the shadows but after you kill the first one, there's another one waiting for you. So it is scary but the more you play this game, the more you realize you're no longer afraid.

this game seemed too scary for me when i was younger, pretty foreboding atmos, i played it, but could only manage small chunks at a time. i wasnt used to games that didnt have music like crash bandicoot lol. its only now that i can enjoy it for the amazing piece of gaming history that it is, and thanks to the cheapness of ps1 games currently, i am soaking up as many as i can before the price eventually rises. btw, i'm not a cheapskate, i own a 360 lol

I think watching the videos on what to do and where to go is alot more helpful than reading the strategy guide. I'd know because I've been playing the Tombraider games since the first once was released. I mean I don't even need the strategy guide for this game. Even though I have the strategy guide, I like to have it just incase I do need it. You never know when you do need it:]

Oh man this brings back memories. My favorite Tomb Raiders are definitely 1 and 2. My sis got Tomb Raider 1 for Christmas when she was about 13 or so...I was 11. Me, my sis, and my mom would take turns playing it. We were hooked. My dad played for a bit but didn't get past "Caves" before losing interest. Unfortunately we were no longer able to play 1, 2, and 3 once my parents updated the OS on our old imac. Now I have to live vicariously through these vids.

If you have a PlayStation 2 and this game, you can still play it! The only problem is that you can't save SO use this cheat to select levels. Once playing, go to your inventory and press this sequence: L2, R2, L1, Circle, Triangle, L1, R2, L2. Then press Select to skip to the next level. (You don't have to press and hold the buttons either.) I usually against cheats in classic games such as this one, but without a memory card you have to repeat EVERY level, and that can be annoying. GOOD LUCK!

what i enjoyed about the CORE tomb raider games was not only the unexpected bosses or the fact that it had little to no cutscenes at all,, but the fact that it gave us a sense of isolation,, it was just you and lara,, no intertuptions from zip or alister (RIP). i also enjoyed the chilling sound effects in the background if you listen in closely from time to time. I would definitely ditch my PS3/Xbox 360 for a PS1 anyday just for this game :')

@Veuliah87hanged Its Good, u should Play Underworld, The PS2 version is like super easy and ends real quick, but the ones on PC , and PS3 is really good to play.....hmm, Underworld only as a few Human enemies, the rest are some, tigers, pumas, lizards and Zombies, yes, Doggy Zombies and Big Zombies :P
