  • when you run to sale that would be time i run to buy

  • @stripe64 oh boy. hmmm....oh using you collective consciousness what is youtubingforsuccess thinking?

  • @jrBeaman what are you talking about?

  • @youtubingforsuccess what a useless platitude

  • You are right, they needed to drop the value of the silver as silver going hihger is like oil, everything will go up in price for producing industrial products and the economy will crash. watch:

    /H2MFJndv5zY

  • @SilverRose09 They?

Doesn't sound like a free market to me.

  • @JRBeaman it is control of the market place

  • If the new global currency is gold backed, then yeah, we'll see that gold/silver ratio expand temporarily and probably very sharply.

But it should contract again for two reasons.

    1) Regional currencies may move to use silver backing, then set a nominal exchange rate for the local coinage to the world currency.

    2) Industrial users will continue to deplete silver while big bars lie buried in our yards :) This will be more like a 10-15 year investment though.

  • silverfuturist you have lots of neat stuff in the background

  • Why that CAT ? why NOW ?? haha just kidding thanks for sharing !!

  • funny how cat's let you hold them a minute or two, then they basically say 'right, thats enough of that'.

  • I have noticed that since the US Government admitted that they have been creating fictional accounts (web-bots) to go out and sway public opinion that SF's page has been inundated with negative comments. Its probably a mix of people that didn't listen to Peter Schiff and are angry they didn't buy silver when it was cheap (it still is cheap) and a mix of Al-(Cia)da's super computers trying to turn people away from Silver. Don't get hoodwinked or bamboozled. Keep Stacking + consider leaving USSA

  • @msungs Where do you think we should go? FND

  • meow

  • maxkeiser. com/2011/02/12/ayn-rand-is-why-america-sucks/

  • I think this is the best silver bull channel now. Stellaconcepts has sold out and only chases where he thinks the money is. Remember how he was touting mining stocks as being where the real money will be made, instead of owning actual silver? We all see how that worked out...

  • ____________ Join the NEW group Silver Patriots ______ Search for the video : We Are the Silver Patriots _____ join the fight with us and tell your friends ______we all get together and share information _____We the ppl create the internet buzz _____We have a true leadership _______________________________WE NEED YOU

  • well if we get a 15-12 to 1 ratio i might trade for gold again, in a small amount.. lol

  • @Donninator1

I think thats a good idea. Its all or nothing now, the trend is your friend.

Can they supress silver again ? If so would everyone just continue to buy ?

Is it rarer than gold now. Is it truely different this time ?

Im holding on tight, this is a once in a lifetime gamble

  • Come check me out! Love the vids, gave ya a shout out in my video, liked the whole logic of letting my silver buy me more gold.... never thought of it like that.

  • It can be debased if that intrinsic value is reduced by dilution, and it's purely of symbolic value and thus at risk of counterfeiting by anyone who can mint coins.

  • Fiat currency means that the only backing of the currency is the good faith, practices and security of the issuing country. In a gold/silver backed currency, a copper penny is a fractional representation of that backed currency, it doesn't mean that it's fiat. A denominational value that does not relate to the coin's intrinsic value doesn't make it fiat.

  • nice fat cat

give you half an oz of silver

    for him ...

  • wow, that was a bleak interview with TF. now I'm depressed.

  • Hi Joe, I love your jacket and ZH shirt. Your videos have style - Fashion AND Metals. What more could a girl want? Keep up the great work as always !!!

  • they will confiscate gold

  • I can well remember as a young teen going into my bank with a 5 dollar bill. (At that time the paper said payable on demand in Siliver.) I was very curios as to what this silver was and was "thinking" they would give me sterling forks and knifes. But, I wanted to find out. In exchange of paper to silver were the old Silver dollars with just a tad above 75% silver within reach. I was amazed. There was no problem with my bank every time I did this to add to my coin collection.

  • Glad to see the cat. She likes you.

  • Joe, you are great and my girlfriend and I really enjoy your vids. One point to ponder. Palladium has never been money, silver has. Think that may play a bigger role. That argument works for rare earth metals though. What would Mike M say?

  • @ArgentPur I asked him about platinum/palladium! He said because silver and gold have a long historical context, there is a cultural memory and they are a safer bet than platinum/palladium, which have only been around since the 1800s. I agree with him, but at a certain point if platinum/palladium get super cheap compared to silver or gold, I will talk about them more.

  • @silverfuturist yep gold and silver have the a historical safe haven quality that people associate with hyperinflation, its a mental thing, platinum and palladium are more thought of as industrial metals not stores of wealth

  • Huh? The webbots are nuts. Collective consciousness? How far in do I have to wade to get to the silver conversation. I had to stop early on.

  • @ArgentPur they only talk about it briefly, then it is all silver

  • @silverfuturist well, the proper use of real money is to know the real value of things. How many oz silver = my groceries? What range of values are acceptable trade to me? How about for gold? Copper? I will know these things & the rubber-ruler shall either be abolished or I shall be adept at knowing who's going to stretch it where. It's not the commodities fluctuating. As far as I'm concerned they are money. It's only the mathematical transformation, via fraud, called currency.

  • @ArgentPur open ur mind more, u might be surprised what might come in.

  • @ArgentPur What do you have against "Collective consciousness"?

  • @ArgentPur You missed the boat then.

  • +1 on the TF interview, it was one of the best I have heard.

  • nice pussy.....

  • i think platinum is 14 - 17 times more scarce than gold

  • @dudeintheriver you could be right! If we see a silver-platinum ratio in the single digits, I will be screaming "PLATINUM" in my videos!

  • @silverfuturist Did you notice that the illuminati at Youtube and Google assigned this video with 666? Look at the URL and website address of this video.

  • @msungs You can fix that by holding the "ALT" butoon while pushing "F4."

  • WoW, amazing !! I hardly saw the cat's lips move !!

  • Thanks for the info, stay informed and keep stacking

  • I think his use of WE = BANKS, the Banks has prosperred.

  • How much gold and silver at .77 oz silver = $1 and 1/20 oz of gold = $1. How much gold and silver is in the country? I am estimating about 1 billion dollars.

By the way I reconize the voice glad to meet you.

  • How much gold and silver at .77 oz silver = $1 and 1/20 oz of gold = $1. How much gold and silver is in the country? I am estimating about 1 billion dollars.

  • Could you post the link or tell me where you got that t-shirt?

    Thanks

  • Have you done a video on "nickels"?

If not, Would you recommend them?

I pickup $2.o0 rolls as I am able. They add up. Feels better to me than stacking paper fiat dollars.

Even with a wheel barrel, I would have a hard time lifting my nickels, but they sort of bring me a bit of joy.

    Your thoughts?

  • @tesskansas One of my first videos was about nickels! They are the safest bet, withstanding inflation or deflation.

  • @tesskansas wheelbarrow.

  • The Fed is currently "digitizing" the debt so it will be interesting to see where this whole "money" thing goes. Stay nimble. Good Kitty :)

  • Love your videos

  • silverfuturist looks like a baddy from a James Bond movie in this video lol, and im so impressed how the trolls dont get to him, the force is strong with this one.

  • great comments...u were much more subdued in this one! :)

  • Thanks for the video's and the links...KEEP IT UP...PEACE

  • ....who is this Turd Ferguson? is that an alias??? how could we even trust someone who has the same name from saturday night live character??? and I started laughing whenever someone said his name......although some of what he said do make sense...

  • China has prospered under our fiat currency as well. We never would have been able to afford all the stuff they manufacture nor would we have transferred our production base there if we had a sound money.

  • @tuubydude your right, and we wouldn't be in this mess either. We would be manufacturing goods instead of printing to buy them. ;-)

  • The penny cost 1.79 cents to mint in 2010 (partially due to metals prices and partially due to production costs). There's talk of downgrading the metals in the penny or even eliminating it.

  • Oh, and thanks for the linkies, using Guildies vocabulary:) Cheers.

  • Good point about the monetary value of PM's, SF. And yes, after the silver gold ratio gets to say 16:1 and gold becomes standard again, you will see a widening of the ratio again. After that however, silver will, me thinks, rise again due to it's scarcity 'cos of usage, since we still don't have a replacement for it in industrial use. Hmm..am I making sense here?:) Cheers on the vid and the ZH shirt mate.

  • good video Joe. I have been saying a lot that not to ignore gold. Everyone I know only has the blinders on for silver at the moment. Gold was cheap in comparision (a flat level price). Gold finally took off today up the charts. if one ones gold today, well, its more expensive today. Everyone keeps thinking that they can trade their silver into gold when the ratio narrows. I think not cause the gold value will only increase right along.

  • Why do U give this TF metals so much clout? I didn't find him to be so accurate in his past predictions.

  • Fiat money has also been used to manipulate other currencies, so I think you have a made a really good point in that only the Western world has benefited in Fiat. This is how we've been able to get cheap labor in other countries, it's really unfair when you think about it...

  • Outstanding point, Joe, and probably the ONLY one to ask. : What is PROSPERITY? More "stuff" ? NO!!!!! Until we re-address and re-assess our priorities then we are dead. DEAD.

  • The #1 element in ANY market and price is demand. If nobody has a need for silver, it's value is inherantly zero. In our modern world silver has thousands of uses and the tech world is only going to expand exponentially from here. In 20 years nearly everyone in the civilized world will have a cell phone/mini computer on them at all times. Silver's value based on demand alone is much higher than $50.

  • America is awful, we have created a world of debt and over 3 bullion people starving to death....

  • HI KITTY!

  • I started watching you as a long hair NY hippie, now your a business type guy living on a farm with out electricity. Also expect one thing and get the other with you.

Hope your happy, we live in interesting times and I know your insight will really be prophetic in 5 years. People will wonder why they didn't see the calamity coming. We did, their just to distracted with the Jones and TV.

  • @1TruthSeekerGuy Ha Ha =^..^= Lol

  • @2:17 I thought you were going to show us your thing....

  • I agree Joe TF Metals interview was the best talk I've heard in a long time.

  • If the serious discussion of a Gold backed currency is on the table will you not stand on the side of Silver as those in the late 1800's

    FREE SILVER!!!

  • If you don't have enough of a coin or monetary unit then it cannot be used as money. It has to be something that can be in the pockets of everyone. Universal yet plentiful and yet again limited. Gold doesn't work, there are people in China that would be walking around with a pinch of gold dust. Silver is more appropriate. I consider Gold more for banking and reserves. To transfer large amounts of debt between nations or states. But silver is more liquid and plentiful to transfer.

  • @SamuraiCommando dont alot of the silver channels say theres more above ground gold then silver (physical) because alot of silver has been consumed and is in landfill, while 99% of gold mined is still above ground

  • @fromthelandofozz I think the problem with gold is that most of it is held in the hands of a few. The rest is scattered around jewelery and some electronics. Its too damn expensive. Think how many people in China have enough money to buy an ounce of gold? People in the US have hardly any gold besides rings which really contain a pewtrid amount per dollar spent on the items. All that inflated labor costs added to the price of a 18k gold ring bought at some box jeweler.

  • @SamuraiCommando Maybe you will be able to walk into a store with an ounce of gold and buy the everything on the shelves. More likely everything on the shelves will cost that much more. What concerns me about all this metals hype is that people are loosing the big picture in all this price movement like they just won the lotto. What happens when physical is literally bought up and anything mined is gov regulated to only go to manufacturing? What happens when APPL is 2bucks and SLV is 500.00?

  • @SamuraiCommando What happens when the dollar gets crushed to ZERO and the SLV is now priced in Yuan or some global currency? Will the revaluation of SLV devalue our physical? How will we as a community price it? How will we track price movements? Maybe we should stop pricing (physical) in dollars now and start pricing it in wheat? The community needs to establish a pricing system that is immune to manipulation and separate of SLV.

  • Very good point about the wealth transfer trough Central Banking system from East to West.

Those 3 Maple coins are representing more then an average ANNUAL income for those people in the East.

  • what kind of name is Turd? I have got to get passed that -

  • Anyone have any comments on why the good quality mining stocks are lagging the price of the metals? Does anyone think they will catch back up?

  • Jim Rogers says, when something is scarce, it's worth more. The USGS at one point, said that silver will disappear in about 10 years under current consumption.

  • great video thanks for keeping me thinking

  • SF actually haven't they already come out with a gold backed currency? I thought Indonesia has come out with such a currency. The dinar or something like that. Does anyone know how well this currency has fared against the rest?

  • The cartel has paid disinfo agents? Of course they did!

    They still do!!!!

  • @pepintheshort100 Like Ron Paul and Lindsey Williams!

  • Comment removed

  • "Nickel and copper are not money, they're coinage."

I think nickel and copper can be both, just like silver and gold can. They're the semi-precious metals even if they're not as rare as some of the other metals. They have all the same properties that make silver, gold, and other metals money.

  • I have mostly silver. What happend to the $500/ounce prediction or even $6000/ounce prediction (robert Kiyosaki). It's sounding more and more that gold is the better buy? Am I not understanding what the Turd was saying?

I always assumed that if we go to a gold standard they would use a percentage of silver in there also, but your point is a good one. The central banks do not have silver!

  • @SlvrStkr2 very good point man, if the central banks don't have it i'm might be tempted to dump it

  • Thanks for the vid, great stuff.

  • Yeah Joe, the interview is extensive, much longer than I was prepared for.

  • Thanks for watching, hope you learned something!

  • thanks Joe great link

  • I already listened to the Turd interview earlier today and agree, its definitely worth listening to if u have the time

  • Thanks for the great vid. Informative as always.

  • Help! I'm confused by this. Please do another video explaining your explanation. ; )

  • About going back to Gold standard i remember James Rickards repeating many times in his interviews that in anycase it would take several years to implement that (just think of how long it took to create the Euro for example).

  • Good info as usual, thanks.

  • I don't know, Joe; I consider anything mentioned in the coin act of 1792 to be 'money.' Isn't 'money' just another exchange for barter?

Go easy on me, I am a n00b.

  • @GuysCallMeShawna That is a great question, I answer in a new video. Silver was the ideal density of value for daily transactions, it was not consumed, everybody held it, so it should have been the standard. Today silver is consumed, a new development. So pegging the dollar to silver means the money supply will be shrinking. However, a shrinking silver supply makes it even more appealing to an investor.

  • I just listen to the radio interview. I highly recommend it....THANKS!!!

  • Thanks for the TFM links!

  • I watches all of these last night including the set they did with Karl Denninger ...excellent all of them...gotta love "TURD". lol

  • What do you know about the latest craze called 'BITCOINS?"

Is this the latest way to accumulate silver?

  • Turd is the MAN !!

  • Gold 1,544 WOW

  • 2:22 The chicken is back!

  • lol i love how all your animals star in ur vids :) at least u will have heaps of friends when SHTF

  • Watch this guy. He digs up meteors and 5 oz gold nuggets in the middle of nowhere in Australia. He's dug up over 1100 ounces, or 1.6 million dollars. It sure beats buying it.

  • Kitty wants attention and her damn gold!!!

  • I agree with you completely

  • haha i cant get enough of your videos man..I hope you realise how much of a legend you are.

  • 2:18 scared me for a sec there....

  • silverfuturist I have Silver but I also have A 640ac Gold claim, In gold rich Placer county CA . I get One oz every 4 to 5 days. When the price of my gold is half of the my silver holdings value, I buy Silver with the gold! I found this to work goood! never have I seen my profits go up so fast doing this! Because of the slow rise of gold but the fast rise in silver makes this just fun! Its nice not to have to buy gold I have estimated around 8 Thousand oz in just the lower 80 ac of the claim.

  • @tjr3838 640 acres? That a big piece of land. How much to buy something of that size today in Placer? What kind of metal detector are you using? How do you buy a claim? Thanks!

  • 70% Gold. 30% Silver.

  • We have prospered in spite of the fiat dollar, not because of it. Technological advances make many amenities and necessities much cheaper, bringing them to more people, even if average wealth is declining. Buckminster Fuller's definition of wealth: “the number of days forward you can continue to live (at your current standard of living) if you stopped working today”

  • Yes. He is right. "We" of the western nations have prospered from this fiat money system. Peasants work in prison like conditions to get our paper money. We take their services and tangible wealth (physical resources) and give them something created for 4 cents in a printing press. So, he is right, not wrong.

  • 0:13 i thought kitty attacked the camera! :D

  • @captvanhalen Kitty used her telekinetic powers to flip the camera!

  • wild, wild volatility

  • I f and when the money exchange system changes it will be all digital there will not be a new gold standard just my opinion if you look foward by going by what the Bible has to say is coming and know man can buy or sell without this mark then to me it sounds like it would be a digital world.

  • @indman101 I think they will try something like that, but it will fail.

  • @silverfuturist i watched theTF metals interview ..really answered about every question most people can think of..wow! his name is turd? ..i would change my name? ..but cool dude never the less ...rocky in the background love that sound!

  • @silverfuturist your right it will fail,(maybe) lasting only 7 yrs..

  • @indman101 we're already on a half digital/paper system as it is...we'll just convert completely to a digital standard just like when we had the Bretton Woods system that slowly became a fiat currency even before we were taken off the gold standard because there was more money being printed than there was gold....kinda like what we're seeing with ETF's, but it's much easier to get away with it on an ETF level than it is on a currency level....

  • @negadelph I cant say the Bible will be wrong...if know one buy or sells without this mark to me it sounds like a chip in your hand or something along that line so if so this would be digital but time will tell...

  • @indman101 I think it has to do with a mark that represents an allegiance to a certain system devised by the AntiChrist. Those who cannot buy and sell are left out of the "system" so they must be underground "black market" . I think it has a lot to do with fiat versus real money. It would be in the interest of the elites to eliminate cash in order to prevent exchanges without payment of tax. But globalist corps like Wal Mart will cooperate then forcing the poor and masses to take the mark.

  • @indman101 ,

I think you are exactly right. it's all about control, and the easiest way to control buying and selling, is through digital payment. And if you don't have the "mark" of some kind, that digital purchase will be impossible. Don't we live in a great country???

  • The US is sooo far in debt that I don't see how we can ever go back to being on a gold standard anytime soon.. Thoughts??

  • $1542 Gold, $48.95 Silver!!

  • great points as always joe... :-)

  • Krusty is the "Star" of many of Joes videos and the most beautiful feline on the web.

  • Whats the best way to trade silver into gold without losing a large percentage in the transfer? I would go to our local cash for gold guy, but I would lose about 30 percent in the transaction!

  • @thedamnedapostle if you are living near to the border you can trade silver in Mexico, the spread is very low, arround 3%, but you have to trade 1 oz libertad only (silver) in a bank named "banco azteca", in gold you better try ebay.

  • @thedamnedapostle Trade it in on-line, such as Apmex

  • @thedamnedapostle you can sell your silver and then take the cash to buy some gold...but honestly...I would keep the silver.

  • @bc5620 Keeping the silver is feeling like the best option. Thanks for the reply's!

  • @thedamnedapostle in the end it's your choice to hold or swap. however, you would be missing out on increasing the number of oz. you own by not swapping back and forth depending on the gold to silver ratio. if you want to learn more let me know and i will send you a link that explains the strategy in detail.

  • @thedamnedapostle trade it on-line at bullion direct. I swapped my silver for gold at a 2% transaction cost... 1% on sale of silver and 1% on purchase of gold, and since the silver was in my portfolio at bullion direct I didn't pay s&h and insurance to mail. I also sold some silver privately to friends and family.

  • @iFreedom4ever I used Bullion direct for a long time. But havent in about a year. I like the system it never did me wrong.

  • @SamuraiCommando I've used BD for three years now with no problems... hope it stays that way. Its catalog prices are less expensive then Apmex and many others that I've researched, I always compare prices and service. And the nucleo exchange is a great plus, most of my best deals were through the exchange.

  • @thedamnedapostle I think i'm going to wait until the gold/silver ratio is 15 to 1 or even less and then pick up 30 ounces of gold with my silver. All I would do is go to my coin dealer and sell the silver and use the cash to buy gold. Do you have a legitimate numismatic dealership in your area?

  • Tell what you think of the WSJ's article about the PM markets easing? I read it this morning and was wondering "What?"

Gold is the money of Kings,

    Silver the money of Craftsmen,

    Barter the money of Peasants,

    Debt the money of slaves.

  • @btigtime2 I must find that article

  • I got a feeling that tonight is gonna be the 50 night

  • Krusty is a very cute, well behaved kitty.

  • And a cock a doodle do too..

  • meow..
