sentinel can kill both optimus and megatron separately. Megatron's gun was the only thing strong enough to kill Sentinel, while Optimus was the only Transformer to put up a challenge for Sentinel. Had Sentinel seen Megatron coming to shoot him, Sentinel would have been quick to kill Megatron.
