How can the planes land so late without going off the runway???

@TimLeahy2 there are regulations for landing that class of aircraft. it must BE ABLE to land and come to a full stop using 60% of the runway, this includes the fact that you aim to land 1000' down the runway. winds at madeira can be very tricky, headwind to a tailwind quite quickly. looks like they might have got an increasing headwind causing them to float. couldnt say for sure though.

@juanma1617 the runway have 2800 meters and some airplanes in this video landed too late with only 1000 meters of runway. you can watch the transavia and Iberia landing to late.

Mas este assustou-me imenso! xDD ..

Primeiro o Airberlin, nem conseguiu aterrar a primeira mas foi à segunda, mas faltava um triz para ser à terceira.

Depois o avião (que não sei o nome, mas está por volta dos 5:00 minutos) parecia que estava mesmo todo inclinado na descolagem!..

Mas penso que foi o mais emocionante vídeo, em termos de aterragens!

pois é e por estas e outras razoes que digo a minha mae ( ela qer tanto andar no A330 de lisboa pra madeira )

que nao qero vir em avioes grandes pra madeira, os avioes mais peqenos podem aterrar tarde mas por serem peqenos inda conseguem travar , um A330 a aterrar onde o iberia aterrou acho qe so parava na relva xD

o aviao no minuto 5:00 e o iberia air nostrum um regional C900 eu n continoei a filmar mas um pouco mais a cima ele inda ficou mais inclinado.

@aviationchannel2010 , quanto à sua mãe, é melhor mudares de ideias dela, porque como disseste, só iria parar na relva xDDD .. Quanto ao iberia, da parte em que estavas a filmar, parecia mesmo inclinado num ângulo de 90º, mas como disseste isso é normal.

sim as aterragens enste dia estavam interresantes por pouco n via mais que 1 go around estavam mesmo a aterragem na zona de aborto de aterragens fui dia pra pensar mt aterrar ou abortar.
