I think i understand where Mr Holmes is coming from...His responsability is to his government and the troops...he's not a politician...his responsability is to manage war operations (the big picture)...not to decide for america whether or not they should stay or go...as the saying goes...when ur given lemons...make lemonade...he does the best he can given the circumstances...truth be told if it was up to him though they wouldn't be fighting in Iraq or Afganistan
