this is one of the best books on EM08 - the economic meltdown of 2008. i couldn't recommend it more highly.
also, if you go to bloggingheads, gillespie has an excellent talk with another analyst i endorse, william cohan, who wrote the excellent "house of cards" about the morons at bear stearns.
@RegulateTheStreet first, theres no time like no to increase your awareness and knowledge. second, try and talk to others about your knowledge without making their heads explode. or yours. it can be frustrating.
third, organize & strategize your local community around alternative methods of economics. yeah it's a lot of work, but if you sit around waiting for government or worse, corporations to provide answers, then i have a bridge to sell you.
