There are not 3.2 million people living there, the statistics from the government say 2.7 million which is a lie because if you look at the streets you can see how empty they are and also look at the roads and see how empty they are to, if there were millions of people living there the streets and roads would be crowded and busy, the government simply makes up the statistics because they are communists and communists lie about everything.

According to wikipedia 3.2 million. Anyhow, everybody is forced to work and this is the middle of the day. Could be an assisting factor to why there aren't a million people running around having shopping sprees.

Yes but even then there would still be alot of people out and about and the roads would be full of traffic, go and take a look at some other videos on youtube which show Pyongyang in the day time and you can see for yourself how empty it is, there are even policewomen which stand in the middle of the road directing traffic which is not really there, as there is very litle to no traffic for them to direct.

@MrJohnboy1984 there's no traffic light at all because only government officials/rich/some professional foreigners have privilege to have a car and drive. People are assigned by the government to which job they should work for or study for, and I assume that there're buses taking mass people to the work place. Free of charge for housing/food/transportation, I believe.

MrJohnboy1984 The size of Pyongyang is supposed to fit 7 million people.. The size of Pyongyang is half of Seoul.. Seoul have almost 12 million Pyongyang can fill up 7 million and it only has around 3 million And the roads are oversized.. and besides.. The factories in Pyongyang are outside.. so nobody works in the streets Pyongyang is a residential city unlike a conventional city where you can live near a truck making factory

Pyongyang is not a conventional city..

The inner part of Pyongyang is mostly

apartments and small shops..

In morning all people go to the offices

and factories.. that are located at outer part

So that simply means no traffic

beyond 10am until they go home.

electricity is turned off at 12am until wake up time if the temperature is not that hot because they have electric problems.
