The biggest drawback of this show was its censorship. It's lack of ability to show violence is really evident and time and makes things look silly. The censorship kept a really solid show from being a great one.

The drewers and the rest of the crew might be lazy (like they've been at some parts), and just install him randomly because they don't wanna invest time making it make sense. - Or 2, it's following a real life pattern, he could have left them for a short time because of some real life problems we do not see due to the length, who knows.

I don't get what Mariah was talking about. Apart from lacking conventional fashion sense (although the furry cape and vest did add a certain "strong man at the circus" charm), I don't see anything wrong with Kravenov yet. He still has fingers, toes, and a normal amount of hair for a guy living in the 90s. All he needs is some therapy and rehabilitation to become a member of society again.
