well, the super clodbuster is a scale monster truck and can be used as so, however, the twin detonator would be the one to reccomend because its fatser, handles better and can be modded to race, i have never broken mine, just injured it (cracked shock tower after 4/5 years of hard abuse) i also believe that the twin detonator is also cheaper to buy than the super clodbuster, and is also available in different models, (the double blaze and dual hunter i think).
I'd say buy the Super Clod as well. You can customize it as much as you could possibly want. Turn it into a racer or crawler. There's almost nothing you can't do to a Clod.
Seems to handle incredibly well for a stock set up.
Maybe it's stock in the sense that no chassis changes have been made. Hard to tell. It sit's well on the chassis so that would point to a stock chassis.
go for the super clod!

Is the detonator stock?

Would I be right in saying you have a dual servo steering set up?
SuperSizedSikh 4 years ago 2
Stock clods use only one servo to steer all four wheels. It has to have high torque though.

Is it stock? Do you have an elec speed control? Bearings? Are you running 27 turn 540's?
I have a clod myself, the original (same thing).
