George Carlin affected me in a profound way as a child, and something about this story resonates in me. I never met George, though I wished deeply that I had. But knowing his work from a young age made me feel better about myself. A lot of his work was about letting go of societal restraints, and it made me feel less weird for not being like everyone else. Thanks, Kelly, and thanks, George. We miss you, man.
