@hyperrichards Oh, so it's a cheap Chinese knockoff with substandard parts that's only worth the money because genuine Baja parts happen to fit it, eh? And yes, it is a weed eater engine. It is FUNCTIONALLY IDENTICAL to the one in my string trimmer, and on top of that my string trimmer has a larger fucking engine by six CC. But hey, I guess I shouldn't expect some logic from someone who's first response is to insinuate that someone they're trying to debate with is retarded.

Seems like the same 2 stroke engine than a lil ktm sx 50 has, sound a bit like a lawn mower to me, but I love it!!

@KAWASAKIRIDER46 It's actually a 26cc unit, revs to about 13,000 rpm or so and uses bog standard 87/oil premix at 30:1.

Most weed eaters also fall within that displacement range and use that fuel, hence the lawn equipment sound.

@TestECull Nice Try but you are Wrong! The buggy was a King Motors Baja 1/5 scale and the first ones they sold came with a. 29cc motor. And it is NOT a Weedeater engine. You can see the engine in some of my other videos. Next Time do your research Before you accuse someone of lying and trying to act like a Mr. Know-It-All. Did you ride the short bus to school?

i bought a complet conversion kit from heat hobbies it comes w/ all hardware and lights ,roll bars body,and more thanks and best regards

bought a truck converter kit that cost about 159.00 it had every thing u needed to fully con vert your buggy the rims and tires came from ebay but not polished i do all my own work and i sand each rim starting with 600 grit water paper and fished with 1000 grit water paper and next i use mothers wax with a cone shaped polisher thanks

@dodgestrength I've worked in shipyards as a welder, fitter, iron worker, pipe fitter, supervisor, mechanic. You could say I've worked with metal all my life, so for me it seemed very simple.
