f he has done any electrical work he need ttifo be registered and have a PART P FULL SCOPE certificate to certify the work report him to the electric board for this and they can prosecute and get him struck off. If he has done any gas pipe work he need to be NICE /CORGI registered and that more seroius if he not registered. Inform the gas board immediately, he might have left your house in a dangerous state.
You may want to stick his name on badlyratedtradesmen website and also on cowboytraders website .There is also a tv program called builders from hell contact them.
one of my neighbour had a cowboy who thrashed his house and took several thousand pound from them and did another several thousand pounds of damage. Left the house uninhabitable for 6months.They were then threaten with GBH if they told any one else. The police says its a civil matter with regards to the work done on the house.
Hi.... Thanks for your interest in my rather poorly filmed clip. We have taken more legal advice and as everybody tells us we have a case. The problem is that as the builder has very few assets it means it would cost us money and we would not be able to get any compensation. I am going to try another video and post copies to relavant tv programmes and perhaps the Sun newspaper. Its all a long shot but I am not going to let it rest. Cheers
Have you tried BBC 1 Rogue Traders, they may be able to offer advise. Also your local BUILDING CONTROL OFFICE may offer assitance , they can prosecute builder for not adhering to building regulations provided it done within 2 years . The best way to stop these criminals is stick there faces on YOUTUBE for every to see so that they are recognised and people then avoid giving them the work.
Write to you MP and get the law changed to get these crooks put out of business. Get a law to have these people registered on a database if they wish to work in the industry to stop these cowboys recking peoples live.
Have contacted the Building Trade federation & Electrical Trade Federation . They would not do any thing but it will cause further problem for the cowboy and also put pressure on them to clean up the industry.Contact the electricity board about the electrical work , they may prosecute the builde for working on the electrics , it would come under health & safety executives , again he can be prosecuted for this if it fails on safety.
why dont you name this guy or better still post a new video using his name in the title
