Ha the truth? There pretty nice plasmas however i found problems with shadowing, speakers really bad. US model 42(450) series. Similar panasonic for same money blows it out water. Both being 720p

One thing is , showing off a plasma with a huge ammount of natural light is not smart.

They are best viwed in a light-controlled area.

It helps bring out black-level and color "pop".

I currently have the 50" samsung HPT5064 and it has great black level and color pop, and ver cheap for that ammount of quality pic.

The nicest black level is found on pioneer KURO plasma's, very nice but really expensive, any PIO plamsa is like $1000 more then any other.

if you are getting a HDTV get a LCD. they are slightly better quility

the larger you get in LCD, picture quality decreases, What the hell are you talking about? Plasma is a much better technology. A much Faster refresh rate.

well, they are both quite good because i think they can both adjust to games consels,LCD's are good for the bedroom and kicthen and if you want a big tv then get a plasma

well,the largest lcd tv in the world of 108" big and the biggest plasma is somthing like 102"-110" im not sure

yeah, if you want to shell out 70 grand, be my guest. I hate LCD. Plasma is so much better. Especially with Samsungs Auto Shift Pixel Technology starting in thier HPT series. it has gotten rid of the risk of image burn
