  • You're welcome, dsmbear. And yes, you're correct. I was facing Hennepin while standing on that short, steep stretch of Bryant that goes up behind where backstage used to be. I haven't seen any online pix or vids of the site as it appears today, but so far it's only a sloping lawn with a newer entrance to the Walker parking garage.

  • I haven't been to the Guthrie since 1991. In the 1970's I saw many plays, starting in 1976, all the way up to 1980. I still have my old theater ticket stubs and programs. I wonder...sell them on Ebay???

  • I would hazard a guess that you'd find an interested buyer (there are still lots of people who fondly remember the original Guthrie), but I have absolutely no idea what these items are worth. If they mean something to you still, you might well want to hang on to them.

  • @cleostreet

Thanks for the imput! Yes, I think that I will keep them in my scrapbook.

By the way, have you seen a video on here showing this same site as it appears today?

Also, upon further inspection, i figured out that this is the view looking towards Hennepin...am I correct?
