@brookequinne It may be shingles, but it definitely has a secondary infection, which could be staph. I had a staph infection on my face and mine looked very similar to this.

You should NOT pick at it. You need to dry it out as much as possible, by using ethanol on it multiple times a day. Then the scabs will fall off on their own and it will be healed.

no need to be rude, I'm an RN, when someone shows up in the hospital, we can identify Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus most times by LOOKING at it...in the medical profession we distinguish it as Staph or MRSA. So, actually it is DIFFERENT.
