How to Fix E74 Or any other red ring of Death NO OPENING UP YOUR XBOX 360

doing this procedure you can damage the board even more since the cpu is also getting hot and you only want the gpu to get hot.

only way to actually fix xbox 360 is to open it otherwise u will get ring of death constantly

I tried this but i got the two red rings to appear only after 3-5 minutes. The xbox wasn't even overheated by then. When I tried it , it didn't work. Can any1 help me out?

Well the problem I have has something to do with the AV cable. I mean, when I take the cable out and then turn on the Xbox there is no red ring, but when its back in it appears again. And its not my AV lead personally, I got a different one off Ebay and it still had the ring so that was money well spent. But I don't wanna do some crap where I might bust the Xbox, but neither do I want to open it up and do something I don't understand, then fuck up by not being able to put it back together.

no the towel trick is for the red ring that has 3 red lights that says E73, this trick is for the one red light that says E74

1 red light aka E74 is due to the ANA chip failing also known as the GPU or graphics processing unit on the console. What happens is the xbox heats and cools all the time causing the connectors on it to become loose doing this reconnects them
