THEY DID'NT, he was arrested, held for 5 months and even tried for Sedition.......charges that were finally deemed ludicrous by the judge and dismissed. only 5 months in jail for no reason !!!

Perhaps by limiting it when a group decries they want to change the balance of power. finance it by bank robbery, commit murder, kidnapping and bombings. Canada is still pretty peaceful , not so many troops on street. 911, Bush and Harper did more to reverse that then 1970 martial law did.
Right. You realize Harper didn't even get into power until 2006. There is no martial law in North America. There are no mass arrests of political groups. There is no curfew.
